Feeling GREEEN?!

Wow it's Friday already so that means it's time for Bellariffic Fridays (BELLARIFFIC1012) and this weeks theme was to use GREEN on your card.  

I decided not to go with at  St. Patty's image or a turtle tot instead I went with Arthur of Arthur and Annie (maybe because I used Annie on Sunday so I felt they needed equal time?!)

The image is stamped as always with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest paper (cream) and coloured with copics.   I paper pieced his shirt and shorts with the dp I used on the card; EP this & that.  The layout is this weeks Freshly Made sketch (FMS26). I added some shading around the image with pencils and gamsol and added some Olive ribbon.  The image itself is also paper pieced on the cream background because I somehow got a black dot on the original background & try as I might I couldn't get it out. Then I tried to tell myself it wasn't noticeable (really a speck) but you know the eye just kept going there. I didn't want to recolour him so I went with good old paper piecing.

Now there's LOTS going on at Stamping Bella this coming week - Em has a ginormous release coming up and she is showing some teasers on Bloggabella.  Starting Monday the Babes will have some sneak peeks of the release.

Annie's having a Sweet Sunday

We are back today with a Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen (SSSC154).  If you play along with us remember to link your card on Karen's blog for a chance to be a guest Sweet Sunday Stamper.

For my card I inked up an image from Stamping Bella - Annie & Arthur; but I just used Annie.  

She is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress with a piece from the dp I used - Simple Stories FabUlous.  I added some shading around the image with pencils and gamsol and added some glitter.

Rain Never Stopped.....

Happy Friday - today's Bellariffic Fridays theme is another awesome sketch from Ebruabella! Remember you have until March 15 to link your card on SCS (BELLARIFFIC0912) for a chance to win a 20.00 Stamping Bella voucher.

For my card I used Stamping Bella's Rain-Never-Stopped-Me-abella.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream paper and coloured with copics.  I added some shading with pencils and gamsol.  For the button and her hairband I used an a pitch black and turquoise atyou spica pen.  The dp is MME's Quite Contrary Jack & Jill (how perfect are those umbrellas!!)

Peek A Boo...

Today I played along with MFTWSC62 - when I first saw the sketch I thought I would whip something up; well there was no whipping up; the sketch almost whipped me! 

I used MFT's PI girl Peek A Boo and coloured her with copics.  I paper pieced her dress and then layered her on the centre panel.  The dp is Lily bee design Head over Heels; and I must confess it's a little bright for me!  The cs are all SU - pumpkin, regal rose and river rock.  For the sentiment I used a die-namic from MFT's Sweet Stack Die-namics

Happy Beeday....

For my card today I played along with Jen's the Deconstructed sketch from this week (41).  

When I saw the sketch I knew a huggabugg from Stamping Bella would be perfect.

I inked up BeeDay Huggabugg and stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream paper.  I stamped the image twice so I could paper piece the presents.  I coloured the image with copics.  The ds paper is MME's quite contrary Jack & Jill 6x6.  I added some ribbon and a die namics upsy daisy flower with a prima say it with crystals in the centre.

Polka Dots...

Happy Friday!  This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to use Polka Dots on your card - remember if you played along link your card in the SCS gallery (BELLARIFFIC0812) for a chance to win a 20.00 voucher from Stamping Bella.  

For my card I inked up one of the Uptown Girls by Lulu stamps from the January release - Felicity and Blair Living Life.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream paper and coloured with copics.  On the frill of the pink dress I used a clear atyou spica pen, on the polka dots I used an orange atyou spica pen and on the frill on the jacket I used a turquoise atyou spica pen.  For the wine bottle and glasses I used an clear glaze pen.  On the cupcakes I used brown liquid applique.  I shaded around the image and grounded the image with pencils and blended with gamsol.  I added a few glitters around the girls.  The dp is MME's Vanity Fair.  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

Lemons...

For my card today I used one the lemons from Stamping Bella's Lulu's Set of Fruits

 The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cs and coloured with copics.  On the cloth I added some poppy orange mirco fine glitter.  I used a clear atyou spica pen on the bowl.  I then paper pieced the image on a piece of cream bazzil cs.  The sentiment is also from Stamping Bella's Lulu's line - Elizabeth Lulu.  The dp is mme Dwell.
