KRAFTASTIC Friday....

Todays Bellariffic Fridays theme was "Kraftastic"  Use kraft on your card.

For my card I inked on Little Birdie Jane and stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest kraft card stock.  I coloured the image with copics, but paper pieced her dress using the dp MME's Lost and Found Union Square.  The sentiment comes with the image.

Sketchy Bellariffic

Happy Friday - today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch - how I LOVE a sketch!

For my card inked up Stamping Bella's Vintage HiWheel with versafine black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and then added some clear embossing powder.  I then shaded the seat, handle bars and frame.  To give it the old fashion feel I distressed around the image with antique linen distress ink.
On the blue card stock I stamped a french script back ground stamp with versamark ink.  The sentiment comes with the stamp and again I stamped it with versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The dp is Carta Bella's So Noted.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes & sistah's creations and leave Em a comment for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Next weeks theme is "FOR THE BOYS" email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Tag It....

Happy Friday - this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to create a tag or add a tag to your card.  I decided to go with a tag.

I stamped A Little Something for You from Stamping Bella with versa fine black ink onto water colour paper, then embossed the image with black embossing powder.  I then cut the image out with MFT's fishtail stax die-namics and coloured it with distress markers.  I decided to go with non traditional holiday colours for the balloons and presents.  The sentiment banner is also a fishtail stax die-namics and the sentiment comes with the stamp.  I used a jumbo brad in the corner and added the green ribbon then a burgundy bow.  I didn't know how I was going to take the picture then I took a sip of water and the light went on!

You still have time to take part in the BELLANOV2012 challenge on SCS - the contest closes on at midnight EST on Dec 10.

Fall Colours....

Today's Bellariffic Fridays theme was to use fall colours on your card - let me tell you it's fall here!!!  I had my furnaces cleaned out yesterday & it was chilly having the front door open; I almost had to put on socks & I hate socks!!

For my card today I went with some old school techniques - I used a brayer (my friend Leslie had reminded me of this technique a few weeks ago so thanks for the inspiration) and I embossed my image.

I started with some glossy card stock and brayered Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie ink onto the piece, they around the top edge I sponged on Ruby Red ink.  Once it had dried I stamped my image Shady Leaves with versmark ink then used some copper embossing powder.  As you can see there are a few spot where the embossing powder & ink didn't stick, but I liked the effect so went with it.  The strip of ds paper is from my friend Jeannie who lent me her WeR memory keepers 6x6 pad called Autumn Splendor

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the creations, and next weeks theme is HALLOWEEN so get your ghost, goblins and pumpkins inked up and email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included in the roundup and you could win some bella bucks

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Happy Friday

Today's Bellariffic Fridays theme was a fantastic sketch by the wonderful Cathabella.  I loved the sketch, except there was the sentiment panel & Cath busted me by saying she was looking forward to seeing a sentiment on my card.  UMMM doesn't she know me, sentiments are really stressful for me!! But because it was Cath I managed...

I inked up Lulu's Garden of Daisies is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  In the centre of the daisies I added some silver atyou spica pens and then some glitter.  The ds paper is MME's stella & rose Hazel.  The sentiment comes with this sweet lulu stamp

Next weeks theme is Back to School - send your cards to Em by Thursday to be included and you can win some bella bucks.  Don't forget to stop by Bloggabella to see all the creations with Cath's sketch

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!

Get your Ribbon On....

This weeks Bellariffic Friday's theme was to use ribbon on your card - YEP as easy as that to play along with us!!

For my card I inked up one of those sweet Pixies that come in a four set (how perfect is that?!) The Pixies are the amazing design work of Tiddly Inks and I was so excited when Stamping Bella introduced them.  Now from the image I'm working clockwise so I'm calling this sweet one Persephone (not the easiest name!!)  The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  On the black dots on her dress I added some black atyou spica dots and on her wand I used a clear atyou spica pen.  I added some shading using pencils & gamsol and finished her off with some glitter.  The ds paper is MME's Stella & Rose Mabel.  I stitched around the layers and added some yellow & chocolate ribbon.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the Babe's creations & what the Sistah's sent in.  Next week's challenge is STELLA or BELLA - use either one on your card and email it to Em by Thursday to be included - you could win yourself some Bella bucks!

Rainy Days

Happy Friday I hope you are having a good one - the image I picked for this weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge is perfect for the weather we have been having:

I inked up Umbrella Peeps from May's release and stamped the image onto bella's bestest paper.  I paper pieced the umbrella and popped the centre up to make it more like a dome over the sweet little peep.  On the peep I coloured her coat with copics then used a clear glaze pen to may it like a rain coat.  For the buttons I used some tiny rhinestones.  The ds paper is Jillibean Soup - watermelon gazpaco.  The sentiment comes with the image

Don't forget to stop by the rest of the babes blogs to see their creations, and Bloggabella to see  all the creations.  Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is "bring on summer" email your cards to Em by Friday to be included.

Bellariffic Friday - Finally!!

Happy Friday - this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to use Kraft paper, which I have come to love doing

For my card I inked a Mo Manning image - Veronica.  Oh how I love her cheekiness!!

The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress and on her lips I used a clear glaze pen because she has to have gloss on right?!  For her earrings I used a gelly roll pen to give her sparkle; because she is clearly not a wallflower!!  The ds paper is basic greys life of the party.

Monochromatic Bellariffic

Happy Friday - I hope you had a great week!  Did you see the release at Stamping Bella on Tuesday?! My order was done on Tuesday; can't wait for it to arrive!!

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was Monochromatic which I usually find difficult but this week but because of these sweet new 3 Little Mermaids under the Sea it came together super easy!

The image is stamped on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the leaves and popped up the flowers and the star.  On the star I added some aqua stickles for shine.  In the centre of the flowers I used some teal rhinestones.  I even managed to find some matching thread to stitch around the bottom layer of my card.  The DS paper is from MME's Stella & Rose - hazel (yes I have an addiction to this line!!)

Make sure you stop by Bloggabella to see all the creations & make sure you leave a comment you could win some bella bucks.

Next weeks theme is a sketch!!  They are my favourite as you know & this one was created by the amazingly talented Lindabella

You Crack Me Up!!

Happy Friday!!  This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was Easter - I must confess I don't make a lot of Easter cards so this will probably be my one & only.

I inked up on of Stamping Bella's sweet Huggabuggs - Cracked Up Huggabugg by Christy Croll. The image is stamped 4 times onto bella's bestest cream paper and coloured with copics and pencils (I used a pencil for the chicks).  I layered the image several times - first the original image is cut out with a nesties then I added the cracked egg around the huggabugg.  On that I layered the flower on the top and the chicks, then layered their eggs on them.  The flower on her hat is also layered to give dimension to the card.

The ds paper is MME Stella & Rose Gertie which I used a Martha Stewart flower border punch and added some tiny rhinestones to the centre of the flowers and the one on her hat and the top of the egg.  I added some glitter to her wings.

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is a SKETCH!!  I hope you can play along with us this week- email your card to Em by Thursday to be included and you can win some bella bucks.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!

Ink What you Haven't Used?!

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to ink what you haven't used - now I know I have new stamps that haven't been inked but I decided to flip through my bindah's to see if there were others...

Daisy Balloon is one that I'm 99% sure I haven't inked so today was a perfect day to do so!  I used Jen's sketch for February (SFYTT) and stamped the image onto bella's bestest paper twice.  I paper pieced the flower on the balloon using my ds paper - bg Green at heart- and paper pieced the balloon to the basket.  The ds is stitched onto chocolate chip cs.  This is one of my brighter cards; I wasn't sure when I was putting it together but I like the brightness!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations and what the sistah's inked up - leave Em a comment & you could win bella bucks!!

Next week we have a colour challenge - here's a picture for inspiration!!  We are going with March's birthstone Aquamarine - look at all the different shades!!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Circles....

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to make a circle card - I really don't like circle cards & since this was Paulabella's idea she was not popular with me when I was trying to make my card!!   I decided to go with an image that went with my feelings on the card SO I inked up Mo Manning's Jill is Two

The image is stamped on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her top and arm so then are crossed across her face.  I sponged around the image and the sentiment (which comes with the image) with Versa Magic chalk ink in wheat.  I stitched around the base layer, you have to do it manually which takes a little extra time but I like the effect!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah circle cards & don't forget to comment you could win some bella bucks!

Next weeks theme is a SKETCH by Ebru - email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Friday

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Final Bellariffic of the Year

Happy Friday - can you believe in a week it will be Christmas Eve?! and in two weeks we'll all be thinking about ringing in the new year - where did the time go?!  This is our last Bellariffic Friday of 2010, and we finished off with one of my favourite things - a sketch!!

I picked up Alice by Christy Croll when I was at Stamping Bella in November and thought she was perfect for the sketch.  The image  is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest cream paper.  I coloured her hair and tea cup with caran d'ashe pencils, her skin and base dress with copics.  I paper pieced the tea cup and her dress, which I used the ds paper Restoration from crate paper.  I added some pitch black atyou spica to her hair band, and a clear glaze pen on her shoes.  The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Make sure you stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and the sistah's creations and I hope you will all be ready to play along with Bellariffic Fridays in the new year!!

A Christmas Sketch

Happy Friday!  Today's Bellariffic Friday challenge was a sketch by our own Cathabella.

For my card I decided to work on some more Christmas cards; I still need A LOT so I made 7 - why 7 because I used up all my little pieces of bella's bestest paper and that's how many I had.  Christmas Peeps is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  I added some shading with my prismacolour pencils (still trying to get comfy with that!!).  ON the tree decorations I used a clear glaze pen and on the star I added some glamour dust glitter.  The ds paper is from my stash of holiday paper by my minds eye.

Be sure & pop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the of the babes creations & what the sistahood did with the sketch.  Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge is an all white card - yep just colour up you image and layer it on white.  I have tried to suggest allowing 1 colour, but the other babes vetoed that!!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included & you could win some bella bucks!!
