Group Hug

I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend - the weather here was horrible yesterday, but the sun was shining today ALTHOUGH I can see fresh snow on the tops of the mountains YIKES!!

Maybe it was the fresh snow, or the fact that it's September but I decided I have to step up my Christmas card making project & this time I made 6 at once!!  I found an old SKFYTT from Jen that worked perfectly with Group Hug from Stamping Bella.  The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.   The DS paper is from my stash of Christmas paper it's from my minds eye.

Happy Birthday LESLIE!!

Today is my wonderful friend Leslie's birthday!!  I must apologize; I didn't get her card made until today - horrible I know!

For her card I played along with Jen's sketch for you to try from this week.  I inked up Izzie has a Birfday Cake from Stamping Bella & coloured her with copics.  For the polka dots on her dress and hairband I added some black micro fine glitter.  The cake is coloured with copics, but for the icing I used chocolate marvy liquid applique and added some java micro fine glitter.  On Izzie's shoes and strips on her coat I used a pitch black atyou spica pen.

The ds paper is from Bo Bunny - layered on tempting turquoise and black cs.  The sentiment is from stamping bella & I added some prima flowers & a bella bonbon in the centre of the flowers
