Retail Therapy

Happy Friday!!  This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a 1, 2, 3 challenge - 1 image, 2 pattern papers & 3 embellishments; what a fun challenge!!

Since I've been at my BFF's in the Boston area we've been doing a lot of shopping so I thought Savvy Shoppabella was fitting for my card!!  Really we've been carrying bags like her & our butts are as spectacular as her's (really I wouldn't fib!)

Savvy Shoppabella is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  For my ds papers I used basic greys max & whiskers.  For my embellishments I used some ribbon, prima flowers and some aqua bella bonbons.  I actually added an extra little embellishment to my card because I'm a bit of a rebel (and I like pretty things)

Hello Laddie

I made this card for my dad and totally forgot to post it - what the heck?!  I mean how could I forget?! My dad played in the Nelson Pipe Band all my life; we grew up listening to the bagpipes and two of my brother joined the band (one piper one drummer) so I had to have this Laddie from TGF!

The image is stamped with memento's ink and coloured with copics.   The DS paper is from Basic Greys Joival collection.  I added some black rhinestones on his jacket and metal on this hat (that's so not what it's called!!) to finish the card off.

I hand delivered this card to my dad in the fall - he thought it was fantastic.  When I was a kid I  didn't think I liked the pipe band music, but now when I hear the pipes anywhere my foot starts tapping!

November Calender

For my calender page this month I inked up one of my neglected Huggabugg stamps. I love this line but confess with so many stamps from Stamping Bella they have been ignored too much!

I used Stampah huggabugg because this is crunch time for all my Holiday cards so I will be a stamping bug! The image is stamped with memento's ink and coloured with copics. I added some glamour dust glitter to her wings, and some tiny rhinestones on her antennas. The ds paper is basic grey's Phoebe & I paper pieced her dress.

Happy Halloween!!

I hope you all have a fabulous Halloween!!  I'm sure most of you will be very busy getting ready for the holidays - here all the houses are decorated for tonight; except ours of course!!

For my card today I used a digi image from The Greeting Farm - Hallo Bride.  The image is printed onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics,  The ds paper is from echo park and layered on black cs.  I added some black ribbon and some bat embellishments.  

Enjoy the ghosts & goblins who will be coming to your door tonight!!

Bellariffic Sketch Revisited....

Happy Friday!  As you know last week Em was swamped with the Creativ Festival in Toronto, and a little under the weather so she wasn't able to post the cards for the sketch Elaineabella had created.  In order to see everyone's amazing creations we decided to re-visit the sketch this week!!

I needed a baby card, and I never have those on hand so I used the sketch for my starting point and the card came together super quick (love it when that happens!)  For my baby card I reached Julia's diaper bag from Stamping Bella.  The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the name tag on the bag and wrote sweet Avery's name with an atyou spica pen.  On the baby bottles I used a clear glaze pen to make them look like glass bottles.  The ds paper is from Imaginisce; baby powder line.  I stitched around the ds paper and added some pink rhinestones in the corners.

All Wrapped UP

I've had this Kraftin Kimmie image that I bought from Sheila at Scrappin Great Deals and realized time is running out to get all my Halloween images made up!!

Mitzi the Mummy is stamped with mementos ink & coloured with copics.  The ds paper is echo parks happy halloween - I loved the colours in this paper, and really I could use it up after Halloween!  I added some ribbon from my stash and buttons to finish off the card.

This was a really quick card to make and such a fun image!

Quick Christmas Wishes

Since hurting my arm I've fallen even further behind on my Christmas cards - I'm really going to have to get into the spirit over the next few weeks to get them out on time!!  I like to have them ready the first week of Dec since so many go overseas.

For my card today I used the Merry Christmas - Happy New Year sentiment from Stamping Bella, and I actually managed to make 4 of them!  The image is coloured with markers then stamped onto bella's bestest paper.  I cute the image out with nesties and layered it on black cs.  The ds paper is from basic greys joival paper.  On the olive cs I used cuttlebugs snowflake embossing folder.
