Mimi....

I'm back today with my Bellariffic Friday card - this week we had a sketch and I flipped the sketch so I could ink up one of my new Stamping Bella images MIMI the Chick misses you.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock.  Her bag and boots are coloured with copics; the rest is coloured with caran d'ashe pencils blended with gamsol. On her tie and stocks I used pink and turquoise gelly roll pens.

The dp is MME's Stella & Rose Gertie.  I decorated the inside of the card with the dp - the sentiment that goes with this image is perfect!!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations.  We are sad to say that Pauline, who has been a babe for 3 years is having to step down.  We are very sad to see her go!!

Next week's theme is Button UP! Add buttons to your card.  Remember to email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks!

Girls just Wanna....

Wow this week has flown by - I've been colouring up some peeks for the release coming up at Stamping Bella and OMG they AMAZING!!  I do believe the babes will start having some peeks on Monday!

Today Bellariffic Fridays theme was a sketch.  For my card I went to my Uptown Girls and pulled out Uptown girls Victoria and Juliette's Night Out.

As you've probably guessed the image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card-stock and coloured with copics.  I decided I wanted to paper piece their dresses (another shock I know) and used MME's "Memorable".  On the glasses I used a clear glaze pen for shine.  I decided not to shade around the image this time - I wanted their lovely dresses to pop off the cream card-stock.  The sentiment comes with the image.  I added some stitching to my layers.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the amazing creations by the other babes and the sistahs.  Remember to leave Em a comment for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.  AND there is a contest going on SCS where you could win another gift certificate to Stamping Bella - click here for the details

Holiday Wishes

Happy Friday - this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was a sketch.  I decided to pull out one of my older  holiday image; Snowman Circle

I stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cs and coloured with copics.  For the snow I used liquid appliqué and glitter.  I love how this gives the snow dimension and sparkle, just like the snow that's fell in Calgary yesterday; the big fluffy stuff.   I added some rhinestone snowflakes on the one panel; it felt a little bare to me, and some rhinestones by the circle.  I used a green atyou spica pen on the polka dots on the wrapping, and a turquoise one on the outside of the buttons on the snowman.

The ds paper is MME's Winter Wonderland - and it had this super cute design that I knew I would never use on the front of my card so I used it to decorate the inside.  Now I know what to do with all those 6x6 papers that aren't right for the front of the card!!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the babes and sistah's creations, and leave a comment on Bloggabella to win some Bella Bucks.  You can also play along with the challenge Elaineabella is hosting on SCS - click here for all the details

Keep Calm....

Happy Friday - todays Bellariffic Fridays theme is a sketch.  For mine I inked up Stamping Bella's Flynn Needs a Cupcake.

Flynn is stamped with mementos tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock.  I coloured Flynn with copics.  I paper pieced her dress and hairband with EP's So Happy card stock.  I then coloured and paper pieced the cupcake and scallops on her dress.  On her shoes I used a clear glaze pen.  The shading around Flynn is done with Spun Sugar distress ink.

I decorated the inside of my card - something I'm trying to do more and more.  I kept it simple and just stamped the image with versamark ink

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks theme is "Back to School"  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks

Thanks for stopping by & have a fabulous day!!

Minty Sketch

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to pick you favourite sketch so far this year.  I went through the sketches and chose to re-visit Sketch 6

This time around I decided to make a holiday card - now I wish I'd made more because it came together fairly easily!

I stamped minty coffee with versamark ink onto watercolour paper then embossed the image in gold.  I then coloured the image with distress markers (barn door, peeled paint and tumbled glass) The shading around the image is antique linen distress ink.  The ds paper EP's Season's Greetings.  On the centre panel I embossed the cs with snowflakes then added some ribbon.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations and if you leave on comment on Bloggabella you have a chance to win some bella bucks

Next weeks challenge is to "Ink Up the Girls"  Pick your favourite girl image and send your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella
