Life is GOOD

I'm excited to have another Duda sneak peek from Stamping Bella's upcoming release.  Life is GOOD Duda - isn't she fabulous?!

The image is on bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I added some shading on her dress and the grass with pencils and gambol.  The shading around her is done with stormy sky distress ink.  The dp is Bo Bunny's C'est La Vie Collection.

You still have time to play along with this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme- a banner.  Make a banner or add a banner to your card and email it to Emily by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella; you will have a chance to win a Stamping Bella gift certificate!

It's the Way you MOVE

I am SO EXCITED about the new release coming from Stamping Bella this week and THRILLED to be sharing one of the new images and designs with you today.  Em amazes me with the talented artist she brings to us!  She has some peeks on Bloggabella today!

Let me introduce a sweet Duda stamp created by Diane Duda  "It's the way you move Duda"

The image is on bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  Her dress is paper pieced on because I wanted the bright yellow.  The shading around the image, at the bottom and along the leaves is done with pencils.  The dp is Crate Papers Fourteen.  I added some stitching and buttons to finish off my card.

Em has peeks from all the babes coming this week for the big release on Monday (or sooner you never know with her!) and I'll be back on Wed with another Duda to share

Girls just Wanna....

Wow this week has flown by - I've been colouring up some peeks for the release coming up at Stamping Bella and OMG they AMAZING!!  I do believe the babes will start having some peeks on Monday!

Today Bellariffic Fridays theme was a sketch.  For my card I went to my Uptown Girls and pulled out Uptown girls Victoria and Juliette's Night Out.

As you've probably guessed the image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card-stock and coloured with copics.  I decided I wanted to paper piece their dresses (another shock I know) and used MME's "Memorable".  On the glasses I used a clear glaze pen for shine.  I decided not to shade around the image this time - I wanted their lovely dresses to pop off the cream card-stock.  The sentiment comes with the image.  I added some stitching to my layers.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the amazing creations by the other babes and the sistahs.  Remember to leave Em a comment for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.  AND there is a contest going on SCS where you could win another gift certificate to Stamping Bella - click here for the details

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is "BANNERIFFIC"  Create a banner using Stamping Bella stamps OR add a banner or your card or even use banner card stock; just have some kind of banner on your card!  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella next Friday AND remember there's a release coming......

Sweet Annie....

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC178) from Karen

For my card today I inked up Stamping Bella's Annie from Arthur and Annie.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress using dp from MME's "memorable".  For the shading around the image I used antique linen distress ink.  I added bling around the image and along the ribbon (instead of a sentiment) to play along with Stamping Bella's challenge over on SCS's LOVE FEST challenges (LOVEFEST2013C).  There are some great challenges over on SCS for LOVE FEST and I hope to play along with more of them!

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations AND this week we have two Guest Stampers!  If you play along with us remember to link your card on Karen's blog for a chance to be a Guest Stamper.

Happy Friday

Today's Bellariffic Fridays theme was "ANYTHING GOES" - should be super easy right?!  Well I couldn't decide what image I wanted to ink up, then I looked for a sketch, then didn't use one - yep a really easy theme!

I did decide to ink up Uptown Girls Belinda and Bernadette the Bench Buddies.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cardstock and coloured with copics.   I wanted to use the insta frame die-namic for MFT to show a "photo" of the bench buddies. The shading around the image is done with tumbled glass distress ink.  The sentiment (which comes with the image) is stamped with versamark ink then embossed with white embossing powder.  The dp is MME's My Girl.  I added some stitching and ribbon, but kept the card base simple so the image would be the main focus.

Please pop over to Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistahs creations.  Leave a comment on Bloggabella and you could win some Bella Bucks.

Next weeks theme is a Sketch - email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day

Blow a Kiss

Last week while at my LSS I was introduced to Mixed Media inks - I was intrigued and with some explanation from Kate I decided to give them a try; so I bought all the shades they had in stock!

I started with a piece of watercolour paper and on about 1/3 of the cardstock I applied some gesso.  Once this dried I then applied several colours of the inks - chiffon, patina and school house.  The gesso gives a different sheen on the paper when dried with the ink.  The inks stay wet for a bit so I could spread the colour around with my finger.  Once the inks dried I then stamped my image from Stamping Bella- Blow a Kiss with black soot distress ink. I coloured in the two hearts with a brick red distress marker.  I wanted the image and back ground to be the focus of my card so I didn't add too much, just a few layers of cardstock matching the shades of ink I used.

Remember this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is "Anything Goes" - ink any stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you have a chance to win some bella bucks

Super Thanks

Today I have a quick card to share with you.  Hubby was invited last weekend to the Super Bowl, so I made him some Thank You Cards.

I kept the card very simple for him.  I bought the paper some time ago because I knew it would come in handy for all the sporting events he gets invited to; it's Fancy Pants Little Sport.  The blue is blue bayou, the green is kiwi kiss that has been distressed with vintage paper distress ink.  The football is from MFT's Have a Ball die-namics.  The sentiment panel is cut using MFT's fishtail flags layers.  The sentiment is stamped with mixed media inx in leather, which I then embossed with clear embossing powder.

You Perk Me UP!!

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch.

For my card I inked up Perk me up PEEPS with memento tuxedo black in and stamped the image onto bella's bestest cream card stock.  I coloured the image with copics.  I paper pieced all the layers on the coffee cup.  The shading around the image is with antique linen distress ink, below is with pencils and gamsol. The pattern paper is MME's Notables.  The base is bella's bestest Kraft - love this kraft paper!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the babes creations with this awesome sketch.  Leave a comment on Em's blog for a chance to win Bella Bucks.

Grow a Little....

I recently ordered some of Tiddly Inks sweet Wryn digi stamps and had to colour one up.

Wryn Grow a little Love is printed onto bella's bestest white card stock then set with a heat tool then coloured with copics.  For the shading of her hair I was inspired by a fabulous tutorial video from Alyce of Kit and Clowder.  On the heart flowers I added some glitter using a red atyou spica pen.  The shading around the image is done with antique linen distress ink.

The layout is Jen's Sketch DS87.  The design paper is MME's My Girl.  For the panels I used MFT's fishtail flags die-namcis.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured with copics.  I don't have all the colours because I had 3 different images on the go this week (not my usual way of doing things) so I was mixing the colour piles up.  For the glitter on her dress I left the paper white then added crystal stickles (using a toothpick)  The shading around the image is done with antique linen distress ink.  The dp is We R memory makers Crazy for You.  The sentiment is cut out with a fishtail stax die-namic.  I added some buttons and twine to the corner.
