Monstah Bash

It's my nephews birthday on the 22nd so I had to get back into my stamp room today to get a card made for him! Actually it was nice to get back into my room, life's been a little crazy the past couple of weeks & I have really missed my stamping time!

For his card I used Mercy's sketch (MTSC43) and inked up Monstah Bash with mementos ink, stamped it onto bella's bestest paper and coloured it with copics. I added some green stickles to the antennas and crystal effects on the spots on the center monstah. The balloon is popped up and I paper pierced around the layers. The cb is white, layered with riding hood red and the ds paper is from October Afternoon - night light collection.

Don't forget you have until Thursday at midnight to email Emily your cards for this weeks Bellariffic Fridays; the inspiration is flowers/nature & remember you are entered for bella bucks for playing along!

When I was on the Stamping Bella forum over on SCS today I discovered there is a Stamping Bella blog hop on October 31 featuring those adorable Chichibouchie fairies! Click here for all the details hope you can hop along!

I Can't Believe....

I forgot to post this sweet card that I made for Miche's birthday back in September!! Her birthday was September 17 and I was in Toronto so we met up at our Happy Place (Stamping Bella) for a quick visit!!

No Fair Girl is stamped with memento's ink onto Bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics, I did paper piece her vest (you know how much I love paper piecing!) The layout for this card is Karen Giron's sweet sunday sketch 35 . I actually made this card when I was at Karen's so I don't know what line the ds paper is, the other paper is prism. On her dress and bow I used a clear glaze pen and I paper pierced around the edges of the layers and added some chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon and some bella dots

Emily has given us this week off from Bellariffic Friday's SO that means you have until Oct 22 to email her your cards; the theme is flowers or nature & remember everyone who participates has a chance to win $20.00 in bella bucks

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Baby, Baby, Baby,

Yep it's Bellariffic Friday on Saturday & this weeks theme was "baby", now I must confess I really don't have any baby stamps - non parent here and for some reason I always think about getting a baby stamp (when I need a baby card) but then I forget, so this was a challenge for me!

I found My Beary Bestfriend in one of my bindah's and knew it was the closest one I had so I inked it up and stamped the image on bella's best paper, then stamped it 2 more times on some prism cs and paper pieced the image onto the original then I stamped and paper pieced the wee hand 2x as well. The cs is prism and the ds paper is from pebbles. I used my new Martha Stewart Scallop Dot border punch along the ds paper. On the bears nose and eyes I used my black glaze pen

Don't forget to stop by Bloggabella to see all the amazing creations and remember to leave a comment to win some bella bucks!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend & to all the Canadians out there Happy Thanksgiving enjoy the long weekend & time with friends and family

It's Starting to Feel A Lot Like...

CHRISTMAS! Holy smokes it is cold, snowing & downright miserable here!! The temp dropped drastically today & the wind & snow moved in for the night YIKES it too early! To match the weather I decided to make a Christmas card or two today.
I loved Mercy's sketch (MTSC42) this week & knew it was perfect for the Elzybells image I wanted to ink up. Making Snowmen is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics, I've listed the colours at the bottom of the page. It doesn't show in the picture (sorry took this at night) but I added microfine glitter to the snow & added green flocking to the cuffs and trim of her coat.

The cb is white cs layered with melon mambo that I embossed with cuttlebugs snowflakes embossing plate. The ds paper is from My Minds Eye's Colorful Christmas line. To finish off the card I added some rhinestones. I managed to get these 2 made, and have the image stamped & paper cut, embossed and the circles all done with the nesties for 13 more cards - look at me go! I might actually get my cards made & sent on time this year!!

Don't forget Bellariffic Fridays will be on Saturday this week - see you then

Happy Neighbourhood

A girlfriend asked me to make some cards for her to give as Thank you notes to people who helped with a membership drive in her neighbourhood (I have no idea what that is!) I knew instantly I would use "happy neighbourhood" from Stamping Bella for my cards.

The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics. I used my gelly roll pen to add some glitter to the tree, and on the circles on the other tree I coloured them with my clear glaze pen. I kept the image simple because I don't know if it's going to men or women; that really makes a difference in what I do! I added black glaze pen to the door knobs

The cb is white, layered with pumpkin cs that was embossed with quick kutz retrodiamonds embossing folder . The image is layered on real red and the ds paper is from my scraps sorry no name left on the piece!

This weeks Bellariffic Friday will be Bellariffic Saturday so you have until midnight Friday to email you cards to Em; this weeks theme BABY!!! Remember there are bella bucks to be won for participating!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Bunnies & Bling

This is a card I made for MFT's WCMD challenge on SCS on Saturday, Joanne B was the host and the requirements were black, pink, white & bling; so I gave her lots of bling!!

I chose MFT's Who's that Girl? Bunny Slippers because it was cold and trying to snow here so it really was a day when you just wanted to stay home in your comfy slippers and robe! The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics, the robe is paper pieced with pink pirouette ds paper. I added some white flocking on the slippers and the cuffs and neck of the robe, sorry it doesn't show up in the picture.

The cb is white layered with black cs then pink pirouette paper which was embossed with a quick kutz embossing folder diamonds and dots and along the dots I added some rhinestones for my bling

Hope you had a great World Card Making Day, I made some cards for a friend that I will post later this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spooky-Riffic...

Happy Friday!! This weeks Bellariffic Friday was a theme - Fall/Halloween SO I went with Halloween, I think Leslie will be getting lots of Halloween cards from me since this is HER favourite holiday; yep she confirmed her decorations are already up...

Since there wasn't a sketch I used Mercy's sketch from this week (yes I am addicted to sketches) and it was fun because it's a long card. the MUMMY. the WITCH and the PIRATE was stamped with mementos ink onto the Bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics. I paper pieced the pot and pumpkins and on the pot I added silver smooch, for the bubbles I used oranges stickles. The DS paper is Basic Grey's Eerie 6x6 paper, I love the 6x6 paper for cards because the pattern isn't over powering!

Em is posting this afternoon, so make sure you stop by Bloggabella later today to see the amazing cards!!

Have a great weekend - it's definately fall here, the heat has been on the last few mornings I am so depressed because I know it's just gonna get worse!!
