Happy Halloween!!

I hope you all have a fabulous Halloween!!  I'm sure most of you will be very busy getting ready for the holidays - here all the houses are decorated for tonight; except ours of course!!

For my card today I used a digi image from The Greeting Farm - Hallo Bride.  The image is printed onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics,  The ds paper is from echo park and layered on black cs.  I added some black ribbon and some bat embellishments.  

Enjoy the ghosts & goblins who will be coming to your door tonight!!

Bellariffic Sketch Revisited....

Happy Friday!  As you know last week Em was swamped with the Creativ Festival in Toronto, and a little under the weather so she wasn't able to post the cards for the sketch Elaineabella had created.  In order to see everyone's amazing creations we decided to re-visit the sketch this week!!

I needed a baby card, and I never have those on hand so I used the sketch for my starting point and the card came together super quick (love it when that happens!)  For my baby card I reached Julia's diaper bag from Stamping Bella.  The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the name tag on the bag and wrote sweet Avery's name with an atyou spica pen.  On the baby bottles I used a clear glaze pen to make them look like glass bottles.  The ds paper is from Imaginisce; baby powder line.  I stitched around the ds paper and added some pink rhinestones in the corners.

All Wrapped UP

I've had this Kraftin Kimmie image that I bought from Sheila at Scrappin Great Deals and realized time is running out to get all my Halloween images made up!!

Mitzi the Mummy is stamped with mementos ink & coloured with copics.  The ds paper is echo parks happy halloween - I loved the colours in this paper, and really I could use it up after Halloween!  I added some ribbon from my stash and buttons to finish off the card.

This was a really quick card to make and such a fun image!

Quick Christmas Wishes

Since hurting my arm I've fallen even further behind on my Christmas cards - I'm really going to have to get into the spirit over the next few weeks to get them out on time!!  I like to have them ready the first week of Dec since so many go overseas.

For my card today I used the Merry Christmas - Happy New Year sentiment from Stamping Bella, and I actually managed to make 4 of them!  The image is coloured with markers then stamped onto bella's bestest paper.  I cute the image out with nesties and layered it on black cs.  The ds paper is from basic greys joival paper.  On the olive cs I used cuttlebugs snowflake embossing folder.

Sketch Time

Happy Friday, I've been resting the arm this week & I think it paid off - I managed to colour my bellariffic friday card without too much pain!!  Wee bit of swelling, but I'm definitely on the upswing (finally!!)

This weeks bellariffic Fridays theme was a sketch by Elaine-abella; who has been sick this past week poor thing!!  For my card I pulled out an Izzie image; she is just so sweet; I love her wild curly hair!  Izzie has a Daisy is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copcis.  The DS paper is October Afternoons Thrift shop line.  I stitched the ds paper to some yellow cs.  I added some small brads in the corners and in the centre of the flowers I added some tiny rhinestones.

Givin some Ketto lovin'

Happy Friday!!  The wrist/thumb still aren't great so this will be a short but sweet post!  It took way too long to colour a Ketto, but it was nice to colour a little (not sure my physiotherapist would agree with the colouring!)

This weeks theme was Kettos; I loved these images when they came out, and was excited to play along.  When I was in Montreal this summer I was down in Old Montreal (which is FANTASTIC) and saw a store that sells dishes with Ketto's on them - so cute!!

Suzette Ketto was stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  On the flowers I used a pitch black atyou spica pen and on the polka dots on her skirt I used black micro fine glitter.  The ds paper is from Echo park - I love the bright colours on their papers

A Little Peek of a new Peep!!

Today I'm excited to be able to show you a sneak peek from Em that she is releasing on Friday; thankfully she sent it to me early so I was able to get it coloured before I injured my arm - I had it worked on again today so I'm hoping it'll start feeling better soon!!    

Preggo Peeps in on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  For the ice cream I used some java micro fine glitter to give it some sparkle.  For the pickle jar I used a clear glaze pen and paper pieced the jar.  The ds paper is from echo park - life is good 

I love how real the pickles look, I must confess I am a dill pickle (vlasic kosher dills only) Hubby bought a monster family size jar at Walmart & I told him he was crazy they would get funky tasting before I finished them - well I finished the jar in under 2 weeks so now we will always have the monster size jar in our house!!
