Home design Copics storage

We spent this past weekend in Edmonton helping my mother in law clean out some storage areas etc, it was a lot of work & one would think I would be tired of "organizing" but really that's all I've been doing since being home! I cleaned out our home office, when we moved we had space so stuff didn't get sorted & tossed; huge mistake!
I then moved onto my stamp room - I have a huge space but my storage containers don't meet all my needs so I pulled out a filing cabinet/drawer system to get some stuff off my desk. I've discovered I don't work well in disorganized spaces (my Mom will laugh at this because my bedroom was always "disorganized")!

I made these Kaisercraft storage containers earlier this year and had a light bulb moment yesterday -I used chipboard coaster (I have tons!) and made storage boxes. They are glued with pumpkin paper supports along the bottom & sides; the 4 large ones (4x4) have dividers inside and the 2 smaller ones are 2X3; I have a guillotine cutter so it was super easy to cut the chipboard. The chipboard is painted with the same heidi swap paint I used on the containers.

They are actually quite sturdy because of the case around them & I was excited to find something that keeps my desk clean and my copics close, I have tried many different version of containers but don't want to spend big $$ because it can be spent on the actual makers & here in Canada we don't have the same great shopping/shipping as all of you in the States!!

Don't forget Bellariffic Fridays is all things KIDS so make sure you email your card to Em by midnight Thursday AND it's the big release on Friday (I am in love with the new Lulu & Lollipops!)

Thanks for stopping by - I am excited to get in there & stamp today; but I do have coupon for my LSS today so I might have to go out...
