Sweet Sunday 132

Happy Sunday - I hope everyone on the east coast is safe & dry!!  Karen has another fabulous sketch for us (SSSC132)  

I must admit I struggled a wee bit with this one; I think it's because I didn't attempt to flip it!! 

I inked up Stamping Bella's  Rustic Window Box by Mo Manning  and coloured the image with copics.  I paper pieced the flowers on the image and used a clear glaze pen on the windows.  Because I went with a funky window colour I cut the image out and paper pieced it to give the window the look that it's on a brown house.  I added some glitter to the centre of the flowers.  The ds paper is Basic Grey's hello luscious.  I added 3 die-namics rolled flowers.

Happy Friday

Today's Bellariffic Fridays theme was a fantastic sketch by the wonderful Cathabella.  I loved the sketch, except there was the sentiment panel & Cath busted me by saying she was looking forward to seeing a sentiment on my card.  UMMM doesn't she know me, sentiments are really stressful for me!! But because it was Cath I managed...

I inked up Lulu's Garden of Daisies is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  In the centre of the daisies I added some silver atyou spica pens and then some glitter.  The ds paper is MME's stella & rose Hazel.  The sentiment comes with this sweet lulu stamp

Just Popping By for SSS131

Happy Sunday I hope you are all having a great weekend; Karen has another fabulous sketch for us this week (SSSC131)

For my card I inked up one of my newer PI girls from MFT - Popping By. 

The image is stamped with mementos tuxedo black ink and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her top & pants with the ds paper which is My Minds Eye Lost & Found.  I added some rhinestones and stitched all the layers.  For the scallop I used MFT die-namics small scallop border die

It's a Huggabugg Friday!

Happy Friday I hope you are all having a great week.  I'm exhausted; hubby is on vacation this week so we have been golfing up a storm plus I've been taking Pilates & did both in one day; the arms are feeling it!!

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to ink up those sweet Huggabuggs.  I must confess mine tend to be a little neglected; Em has too many cute images that it's impossible to give them all equal inkin'

I inked up Cuppycake with a Huggabugg on top and stamped the image onto bella's bestest paper and coloured the image with copics.  I added some glitter on the icing and teeny tiny rhinestones for the antennas.  How perfect is the ds paper from MME lime twist?!  As soon as I picked this image I knew what paper I was going to use.

Happy Sunday - I'm back this week to play along with Karen's SSSC130 & her is the sketch 

For my card this week I decided to ink up one of my new a la modes from MFT stamps - I need some Face time. 

The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  For the tablet (my choice IPAD 2) I used a silver atyou spica pen and a clear glaze pen.  The ds paper is MME's stella & rose Mabel.  For the sentiment I used MFT's die-namics say what die and for the scallop border I used mft's die-namics small scallops.

It's a Green Friday

A GREEN BEANS Friday!!  So I decided to take the month of August off from the DT - hubby has holidays, we have company so I thought if I get time to stamp; sweet; if not no worries.  Em was fabulous about it so I was "off" this month.  THEN came an email from Em; there's a release did anyone want to colour (she is smooth isn't she - of course we will want to colour!!) SO I emailed her back & said yep send me over an image & she sent me Jamie our tomboy Green bean - isn't she cute?!  I grew up with 3 older brothers so I totally get this girl!!

Jamie is on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the pocket on her overalls, the bows in her hair and the butterfly.  The ds paper is MME's lime twist out of the blue.

Now once I received Jamie & loved her I said UMMM I can take another - and OMG along came ANASTASIA!!

Look at that hair & those glasses - I think it's Em with her hair piled on top of her head!  Anastasia is on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress (and popped the bottom up); her bow and her glasses which I used a clear glaze pen on the lenses and a clear atyou spica pen to add sparkle to them because she would not have boring glasses.  The ds paper is MME Lost & Found Market Street

I have to tell you about my taking the photos; I went to grab my camera & can't find it - realized I left it in a friends vehicle this week & hubby isn't home with his so I had to use my Ipad then email the photos then edit - I'm surprised they turned out!!   I will be happy when I can steal hubbys until I get mine back

I hope to have another Sneak Peek for ya on Sunday - this release is SO good have you seen those Uptown girls? And there are several new Green Beans & some Mo Manning images & PAULABELLA's creations!!  I can't wait to order on Monday!!

Just a note

It's summer and between company and hubby's scheduled vacation I'm going to be taking a wee break from Bellariffic Fridays - but I hope to get a few posts done very sporadically.

August Calendar

Wow already August - I hope everyone is enjoying their summer & in Canada enjoying the long weekend!!

For this month's calendar I went back to my childhood and a good old tree swing that we had at our cabin (and lived on)  MFT's sweet PI girl Start the Day with Whee.  The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress with basic greys marjolaine paper.  On her shoe and the seat I used tiny rhinestones (coloured with copics) to add some bling.
