Sweet Sunday Sketch 299

Happy Sunday it's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge (SSSC299) and I LOVED this weeks sketch!

For my card I used one of Stamping Bella's new Stuffies.

I'll Always Have Your Back Stuffie is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with pencils and blended with mineral spirits.  For the blue sky I used tumbled glass distress ink.  The DP is MME's Breeze

I kept the flags theme on the inside of the card

A Little Inspiration....

It's our first Bellariffic Fridays challenge of 2014 AND it's our first Bellariffic Friday challenge with our new babe Tammy Edgerton!!  This weeks challenge was an inspiration challenge - I love seeing how everyone is inspired by the photos

For my card I went with a party, yes the photo definitely looks like a party to me.  I inked up one of my Uptown Girls that to my horror hadn't been inked up - Uptown Girl Bianca loves her Big Cake.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I think the big cake intimidated me before.  I tried making it "chocolate" cake but it was far too dark so instead it's a vanilla cake with chocolate icing - delicious no?!  For the colours in my card I used the colours from the photo, and instead of design paper I embossed the pink card stock with swiss dots to match the dots on her dress.
