A Rose Among Us on a Sweet Sunday

Here is today's Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen - (SSSC106).  I hope you will be able to play along this week & remember to link you card through Inlinkz on Karen's blog.

For my card I inked up another one of my new Stamping Bella images - yes I still have a lot of un-inked rubbah!  A Rose Among Us is inked with markers (rose red, regal rose and artichoke) and stamped onto bella's bestest paper then cut with a circle nesties.  I sponged around the image with versa magic wheat.   In the centre of the flowers I added just a touch of glitter.  The ds paper is basic greys Indian Summer (yes I'm using up some of my stash!!) and I stitched around the layers.

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers to see their creations

I hope you have a great Sunday - enjoy the Oscar's tonight!!

Ink What you Haven't Used?!

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to ink what you haven't used - now I know I have new stamps that haven't been inked but I decided to flip through my bindah's to see if there were others...

Daisy Balloon is one that I'm 99% sure I haven't inked so today was a perfect day to do so!  I used Jen's sketch for February (SFYTT) and stamped the image onto bella's bestest paper twice.  I paper pieced the flower on the balloon using my ds paper - bg Green at heart- and paper pieced the balloon to the basket.  The ds is stitched onto chocolate chip cs.  This is one of my brighter cards; I wasn't sure when I was putting it together but I like the brightness!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations and what the sistah's inked up - leave Em a comment & you could win bella bucks!!

Next week we have a colour challenge - here's a picture for inspiration!!  We are going with March's birthstone Aquamarine - look at all the different shades!!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Annie....

Happy Sunday - I love Sundays because of Karen's amazing sketches and here's what she has for us this week (SSSC105)!

For my card I inked up another one of my new Stamping Bella images (again by Christy Croll aka Tiddly Ink) called Arthur & Annie (for some reason I want to call her Gracie?!)  Annie is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I LOVE her hair - I want my hair like that; no frizz!!  The DS paper is from Crate Papers Restoration, I used another pattern but same colours for her dress.  The ribbon is from SU, a limited package I found when I was cleaning out/reorganizing earlier this year.

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs, and I hope you will be able to play along with this weeks sketch - remember to link you card on Karen's Blog!!

It's a SKETCH Friday

Happy Friday - today for our Bellariffic Friday challenge we had a sketch from our video babe Ebru!

I decided to go back in time (meaning pre-copics) and watercolour my image!! I LOVE Stamping Bella's new image Flower Garden and it is perfect for water colouring. The image is stamped with Stazon onto fabriano hot pressed watercolour paper and coloured with re-inkers. I used 3 colours for reinkers - SU's pink pirouette, riding hood red and always artichoke.  I then sponged around my image with versa magic wheat and added some glitter to the centre of the flowers.  The DS paper is from Pink Paislee called Enchanting.  I had some tiny rhinestones, and again I coloured them with copics to match my paper.  I even decorated the inside of my card (on confetti white paper)  because I love this stamp!!

Please stop by the rest of the babes blogs to see their creations and then Bloggabella to see what the sistah's created.

Next weeks theme is "ink what you haven't used"  I'm going to challenge myself to not use one from the new release!!  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included and you could win some bella bucks!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!

It's a Peachy Sweet Sunday

Hope you all are having a great weekend - we have warm temps here so the snowing is slowly melting away YEAH!!

Karen has another amazing Sweet Sunday Sketch this week (SSSC104) I hope you will be able to play along with us!

For my card I inked up one of my new Stamping Bella stamps - Peachy Pixie by Christy Croll (Tiddly Ink)  How perfect is it for this sketch?!

The image is stamped with mementos ink onto  bella's bestest paper & coloured with copics.  I added some shading around the image using pencils.  The pixie and the leaves are all paper pieced onto the image and the leaves are only glued at the base.  I added some glamour dust glitter to her wings.  The DS paper is BG Marjolaine.  The sentiment is also from Stamping Bella.

Please stop by and see the rest of the Sweet Stop Stampers blogs and remember to link your card on Karen's blog

Thanks for stopping by - enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Circles....

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was to make a circle card - I really don't like circle cards & since this was Paulabella's idea she was not popular with me when I was trying to make my card!!   I decided to go with an image that went with my feelings on the card SO I inked up Mo Manning's Jill is Two

The image is stamped on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her top and arm so then are crossed across her face.  I sponged around the image and the sentiment (which comes with the image) with Versa Magic chalk ink in wheat.  I stitched around the base layer, you have to do it manually which takes a little extra time but I like the effect!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah circle cards & don't forget to comment you could win some bella bucks!

Next weeks theme is a SKETCH by Ebru - email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Friday

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Peek A Boo

Today I found time to play along with MFTWSC5 - because it's cold an snowy here again I decided it was a perfect day to stay home!

I inked up one of my new PI girls from MFT - Peek  a Boo girl is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress and her arms so her hand would be "on" her face.  The ds paper is MME Fine and dandy - tickled pink.  I used a Martha Stewart punch and added some rhinestones along the border; they weren't the right shade of pink so I coloured them with a copic marker.  Instead of a bow I added a rolled flower using MFT's die- namics rolled flower .  I added some tiny rhinestones for the centre of the flower and the buttons on her dress.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Sweet Arthur

Happy Sunday - I hope you are all having a great weekend!  I'm trying to get some Oscar movies in this weekend so I'm ready on the 27!  So far I've seen The Social Network, The Fighter, The Kings Speech & The Kids are Alright - today Black Swan; next weekend True Grit. I want to see 127 Hours but no one wants to go with me so I'll have to wait to rent that one!

Today Karen has another FABULOUS Sweet Sunday Sketch for us (SSSC103)- I love her sketches, and can honestly say I don't know how she can consistently create such great ones! I flipped my centre panel to work with my image.

For my card I inked up one of my new images from Stamping Bella's recent release - Arthur & Stella; I just used Arthur.  I love that you get both images in this set; giving so much versatility!

The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  I used pencils for some of the shading.  The ds paper is basic grey's Oliver which is layered on some blue cs and black cs.  I paper pierced around the layers of the card.

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs and I hope you can play along with us this week and don't forget to link your card to Karen's blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great day!!  Enjoy the Super Bowl & GLEE (finally!!!)

Valentine Bellariffic

Happy Friday - I hope all of you in the east have dug out from the snow storms & now I hear you are getting the cold weather!

We are back this week with Bellariffic Fridays, after a break for Em to go to CHA and have a release!  My new rubbah is here so I am looking forward to inking some of it up this weekend! This weeks theme was Valentines - I went through my binders and went back to one of my favs; a Tiddly Inks design called "Wrapped in Love"

The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics, I then cut the image out and mounted it on the ds white from basic grey's bittersweet collection.  I used a red atyou spica pen on the hearts (I did stamp the image on the dp NO I didn't try to cut those out!!)  I used a Martha flower punch and added some tiny rhinestones in the centres.

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is one that I'm dreading - Circle cards.  Paulabella has suggested this idea for the past year so it's finally made it to the top of the challenge list - I feel this will be a challenge for me; but challenges are good right?!  I hope you can play along and show me circle cards aren't that bad - email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included and you could win yourself some bella bucks!

Don't forget to stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the Babes creations, and what the Sistahs sent in for Valentines day cards!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

It's February...

Where did the past month go?!  I can't believe it's already February - at least spring is getting closer!

This month I inked up one of Stamping Bella's Tiddly Ink designs - APTEE 'tude.  The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics.  On the hearts I used a red atyou spica pen.  I then paper pieced the image onto the calendar and mounted it onto the same cs as January so they are back to back.  The calendar is from Taylored Expressions.

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is Valentines Day!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included and you could win yourself some bella bucks
