SSSC225

Happy Sunday I hope everyone is having a great week.  I'm back today with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. (SSSC225)

This sketch stumped me and then I had a light bulb moment.

I used Evergreen Landscape dies from Memory Box. I cut the image out 2 times so I could alter where some of the trees were to make the image work.  I then layered it onto green card stock then onto a strip of black card stock.  I embossed the white card stock using cuttlebugs swiss dots embossing folder.

A Little Inspiration "just for you"

This week's challenge was an inspiration challenge - here's the photo

I went with the colours from the photo and inked up Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Paisley has a Prezzie

The image has stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with a mixture of pencils blended with mineral spirits and copics.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistahs creations.  We are sad to say that Cheryl is having to step down from the team.  With that we are happy to announce we have a new babe on team - Amy Rysavy of Prairie Paper and Ink has joined our team!

Next weeks challenge is a sketch - ink up a current Stamping Bella image and send your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Sweet Sunday 224

Happy Summer!  I hope everyone had a wonderful first day of summer yesterday.  Here is Karen's  Sweet Sunday sketch for this week (SSSC224)

For my card I kept it simple because of all the layers I just used a sentiment from Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Maybelline Loves Mail.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and cut to fit onto the MFT pierced square die namics.  The dp is pink paislee's hello sunshine.  The tags are made with mft fishtail banner die namcis and the scallop is mfs small scallop die namic

One Layer

Today's Bellariffic Friday challenge was a challenge for me - One Layer Wonder!!

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's newest stamps Flower for a True Friend

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  Once coloured I inked around the image with antique linen distress ink.  I then mounted the image on a black card base

For the inside of the card I used the antique linen distress ink on a piece of bella's bestest cream card stock then stamped the sentiment with black memento ink

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks theme is a sketch.  Email your card to Emily by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella
