Sweet Sunday Sketch 217

Happy Sunday - it's time for Karens SSSC217!

For my card today I flipped the sketch to work with the sentiment I wanted to use.

The image is from Stampers Anonymous "Stuff to Say" set.  It's stamped with versa fine black ink onto cream card stock then embossed with clear embossing powder.  The circles are done with both a nesties (base) and MFT's pierced circle die namics.  The DP is Fancy Pants Park Bench.  For the flags I used MFTs Fishtail Stax die-namics.  The flowers are Tim Holtz tattered flower garlands which I inked with scattered straw distress ink and added some brads from my stash

Here is the sketch if you play along with us remember to link your card on Karen's blog by Friday

Poppies on a Bellariffic Friday

Happy Friday - it's suppose to snow here again tonight - seriously I am SOOOO over winter!!  I think that may have been what made me want flowers on my card today!

For this weeks sketch I inked up LULU loves Poppies.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock an coloured with copics.  I added some sparkles on the polka dots with a black atyou spica pen.  In the centre of the flowers I used a clear wink of stella pen.  The DP is Bo Bunny's Serenade Collection.

Dancing...

Happy Good Friday everyone!  Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to ink up a "Senior-ita" image.

I chose Senior-ita Beverly Loves the Rain - maybe partly because I'm hoping for rain instead of snow!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics; some of the shading is done with pencils blended with mineral spirits.

I continued the colours on the inside for the sentiment panel

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations - next weeks challenge is a sketch.  To play along ink up a current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Sweet Sunday 215

Maybe it was the snow Friday afternoon/ Sat morning (yes snow) that inspired me to ink up a flower image for this weeks SSSC from Karen.

For my card I used Stamping Bella's Em's Lantern Flowers.  They are stamped with versfine black ink onto water colour paper then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I coloured the image with distress markers and a water colour brush.  The dragonfly and butterfly come with the image and are stamped with black ink then shaded using a white, gold and black wink of stella pen.  The dp is Authentique Renew.

Our exciting news is that we have another babe joining our team - Tracy Valure (Tracy's Stamping Corner) joins us starting today - please pop by to see her amazing card

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the babes and sistah's creations.

SSSC 214

It's Sunday so you know that means it's time for a SSSC from Karen!

For my card I inked up Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Sandy and her Sombrero

The image is stamped onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  For her drink I made it my new "holiday" drink - a miami vice which is daiquiri mix, margarita mix and rum YUM!!
I used a clear glaze pen on her lenses and glass. For some glitter on her suit I used a pink glaze pen.
The sentiment is cut with MFT pierced circle cut die namics layered on a circle nestie.  The dp is Glitz Unchartered waters

Sweet Inspiration

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was an Inspiration photo which I am really starting to like; when we first had inspiration challenge I found them challenging now I don't try to take too much from the photo

For my card I used Uptown Girl Posh has a Present

And here's the inspiration photo

As you can see I went mainly with the colours in the photo.  The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress and some of the presents (the dp is from my scraps and I have no idea what line it is!)  I paper pieced the one present outside the panel.  The base card stock is embossed with cuttlebugs charles embossing folder.  I added some tiny rhinestones on the one parcel and some buttons in the colours in the photo

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next week's challenge is a sketch - simply ink up a current stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win the monthly prize
