Sweet Sunday Sketch 234

It's time for  Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (SSSC234)

For this weeks card I used only die cuts and stencils from Memory Box

The flower die is Pavilia bloom background and Pavilia bloom outline.  The embossed black background is done with modern flower power stencil.  The strip of green is dp from Little Yellow Bicycles Fern and Forest

Holiday Wishes

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch
I decided to make a holiday card using Uptown Girl Quinn in her boots

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest card stock and coloured with copics then cut with a nesties. I paper pieced her scarf so it was outside the circle.   I added shading around the image with stormy skies distress ink then some glitter for snow.  The DP is Studio Calico Magical collection and the banner is made from the DP.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is to Paper Piece on your card - use any current stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bellariffic Fridays and a chance to win the monthly prize.

SSSC 233

Happy Sunday I'm back today with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch 233 - now I must confess when I first saw this sketch I was stumped....

I decided to go with a clean and simple card and sentiment

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Paper smooches Happy Birthday set.  I used stazon Midnight blue ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  For the background I used a moroccan tiles stencil (sorry I don't know how its from) and light texture paste.  Once the paste dried I added some colour using pumice stone and faded blue jeans distress ink.  For the embellishment I kept it simple since it's a male card and just added 2 buttons

Some Colourful Inspiration

Today's Bellariffic Friday's challenge was an inspiration photo

I decided to make a birthday card because of the delicious cake so I used Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I shaded around the image with antique linen distress ink.  The dp is Simple stories Fabulous.   I added some sequins to blink up the card.

Da Bella is having a sale!!!!  She has about 30 new images in her new release so she needs to make some room so EVERYTHING in the store is 25% off!!!  Make sure you stop by Stamping Bella this weekend and do some shopping

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next week we have a sketch - use any current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday for a chance to win the monthly prize

Sweet Sunday 232

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge from Karen (SSSC232)

For my card this week I used Stamping Bella's Annie from Arthur and Annie (love how they are 2 separate images)

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest card stock and coloured with copics.  I then fussy cut the image out to mount on the black background.  The dp is BG's Knee Highs.  I layered 2 buttons in the corner - like the look but not good for mailing!

Getting Inky....

Happy Friday - today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch

I took some liberties with the sketch - I made my card a standard 41/4 x 51/2 instead of a square card because Lesliebella was just here for a visit (so was Motzabella) and when Lesliebella was here we pulled out all my inks, texture pastes, stencils, and sprays and played  - here's a  picture of my hands Lesliebella was a little nervous at first....

The sentiment I used for my card is from Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls Beatrice and Barbara are Besties.

The sentiment is stamped with gathered twigs distress ink then embossed.  I then used the distress inks to shade around the sentiment.  For my card I made the background using glass bead texture paste with a stencil on kraft paper.  When it first dried we didn't Love it - really we didn't even Like it.  Then I added the distress inks (worn lipstick and gathered twigs) and then sprayed the base with Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst spray in Creme Brûlée and WOW what a difference!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations.  Next weeks Bellariffic Friday challenge an Inspiration challenge - just take a peek at the photo and use any current Stamping Bella image and send your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Happy Sunday - I hope everyone is having a great weekend; it's a long weekend here- WOHOO

Karen's sketch (SSSC230) had me a little stumped....

I decided to flip the sketch....
