Mimi....

I'm back today with my Bellariffic Friday card - this week we had a sketch and I flipped the sketch so I could ink up one of my new Stamping Bella images MIMI the Chick misses you.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock.  Her bag and boots are coloured with copics; the rest is coloured with caran d'ashe pencils blended with gamsol. On her tie and stocks I used pink and turquoise gelly roll pens.

The dp is MME's Stella & Rose Gertie.  I decorated the inside of the card with the dp - the sentiment that goes with this image is perfect!!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations.  We are sad to say that Pauline, who has been a babe for 3 years is having to step down.  We are very sad to see her go!!

Summertime...

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme was Sizzilin Summer.   I went with Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Flora the Cyclist.

The image is stamped on water colour paper with versafine black onyx ink then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I then coloured the image with tombow markers.  On the bike frame and for the flowers in the basket I used gelly roll pens.  The dp is EP's Sweet Day.

I added some of the same dp on the inside of the card.  I love the sentiment that comes with this image.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next week is a sketch week, email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks

Winter Wishes

It was a rainy day today so I decided I should spend some time in my stamping room.  I haven't inked up any of my MFT stamps in a LONG time so I decided it was high time I did and todays MFTWSC129 was the perfect starting point

I inked up MFT's WTG Gets Cozy with Cocoa with memento tuxedo black ink on card twice so I could paper piece the mug.  I then stamped the image on the DP Carta Bella's Merry and Bright twice for her sweater, mittens and scarf.  For the shading around the image I used tumbled glass distress ink.  For the marshmallow's I used white liquid appliqué and let it air dry.

I used the fishtail flags layer stax die-mnamic on the inside of the card as well as the front.  With the sentiment I chose this is clearly NOT one of the cards we send to hubby's contacts!!

A Late Bellariffic

Happy very late Friday - I must apologize for being late with my Bellariffic Firday, it's been a bit of a crazy week!

This weeks challenge was "for the sistahs" a card about friendship.  I totally gravitated to my Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella and chose Uptown Girls Pattie and Dottie Friends Forever.

The image is stamped with versafine black ink onto water colour paper then embossed with black embossing power.  I coloured the image with a combination of distress markers and gelatos.  The dp is MME's Yellow Bicycle's Fern & Forest

I decorated the inside of the card using the same theme - I love the sentiment that comes with this image!

Let me Introduce.....

I'm excited today to share with you another sneak peek of the upcoming release from Stamping Bella.  Em has found another FAB artist (she'll reveal all the details next week with the release) and the images are too sweet!

Here is Twirl....

Don't you love her and the sentiment is so perfect?!  Naturally she is on bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured with copics.  Fro the swirls from her twirls I used a gelly roll pen.  The shading around the image is done with both antique linen and tumbled glass distress inks.  The dp is Hopscotch from Fancy pants.  The sentiment comes with the image.

If you've missed the other peeks from Em of the images here are the links AND check out the babes blogs as they've been showing some peeks this week

SNEAK PEEK 1 - MIMI

SNEAK PEEK 2 - CHICKS RULE

SNEAK PEEK 3 - HELGA the HOT CHICK

SNEAK PEEK 4 - PARKER

Aren't they the sweetest?!  Em told me I'm going to LOVE todays peek so make sure you stop by Bloggabella  later today!!
