Daisy Bugg

Christy Croll the amazing designer between many of my favourite Stamping Bella stamps also has an online store where you can buy digi stamps of her images!! Tiddly Inks has some amazing images & I am thrilled to show you one today

I used Mercy's sketch from today (MTSC67) and printed Daisy Bugg onto bella's bestest paper and coloured the image with copics. I added some glamour dust glitter on her wings and for the centre of the flowers I used grasshopper green ultra fine glitter

The DS is My Minds Eye's Quite Contrary line (Best friends) and I layered it on regal rose cs. The punch is from Martha Stewart; loopy border punch. I added some kiwi ribbon, a pink button and a prima in the corner with a bella bonbon in the centre.

If you haven't stopped by Tiddly Inks blog please do so & see all the amazing images Christy has - she is super talented!!

WHEE....

I am so happy I was able to play along with the Sweet Stop sketch this week (SSS49) - I {heart} their sketches but haven't played along in awhile

I also finally inked up this sweet Pure Innocence Girl "Start the Day with Whee" from MFT. The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics. I cut the image out with a rectangle nestie; then cut along the embossed line, I then cut the base (garden green) with the same size nestie. The ds paper is from My Minds Eyes Quite Contrary - Mary Mary line,
I used the ds paper for her dress as well.

I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in the corners of the image and some pink gingham ribbon along the bottom. The flower is a white prima flower that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in bubblegum and added a ruby red bella bonbon

Thanks fro stopping by - hope you started your day with Whee!!

Sketchy Bellariffic

This weeks Bellariffic Friday's challenge was a sketch. I went through my bindah's to find an image that would be perfect for the oval sketch & I came across Little Emmy who hadn't been inked up yet!

Little Emmy is stamped with mementos onto bella's bestest cream paper and coloured with copics. I used a pink atyou spica pen on her glasses frames and a clear glaze pens on the lenses.
The ds paper is from SEI Jocelyn which I paper pierced around. I added some pink ribbon and some plastic flowers in the corners.

Make sure you stop by Bloggabella to see all the other cards & remember to leave a comment to win some bella bucks

Friendship

I wanted to play along with Mercy's sketch this week (MTSC66), and decided to do something a little different for me and used a definition block as my focal point.

I love all the definition blocks from Stamping Bella, and decided to ink up "friendship" for my card. The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest cream paper & cut with a nesties. I then trimmed the image along the embossing lines and mounted it on a piece of garden green cs that was cut with the original nestie to keep the size down. The ds paper is My Minds Eye's Quite Contrary Mary-Mary line and it's mounted on garden green, then on pretty in pink. I added some pink gingham ribbon and a bow.

The flowers are primas, the pink is a white flower that is sprayed with tattered angels glitter mist bubblegum and I added some bella dots glitter in platinum.

Thanks for stopping by - have you emailed Em your bellariffic card yet? She needs them today! See you tomorrow for Bellariffic Friday!

Reminds Me of...

When I saw this digi stamp from The Greeting Farm I had to buy it because Audrey was totally me when I was little. My poor Mom had 3 boys, finally her little girl & I was happier in anything but a dress!! Really I still live in jeans until it's shorts season & I do love my baseball caps! I also love her tongue sticking out; another thing I did as a kid with 3 older brothers!!

I played along with Monday Mania over on Club Anya; it was a sketch & I {heart} sketches! Not only did you have to play along with the sketch but you add to add elements; I chose sewing and embossing.

Audrey is coloured with copics and cut with an oval nesties. For the snaps on her cap I used some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles. I also added black twinkles to the snaps on her pants. The ds paper is My Minds Eye Abbey Road. I didn't want the card too girlie & I wanted a orange cap since my favourite hockey team has a lot of orange in their team colours

Thanks for stopping by,

Dana

I played along with TESC105 this week, it was a perfect sketch for Polly Packages from Stamping Bella. The image is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest white paper and coloured with copics.

I used a gold atyou spica pen on the present, a lipstick one on the holly and pink on the buttons on her coat.

The ds paper is from WeR Memory Keepers called Merry & Brights, and the image and ds paper is layered on garden green c
s. The ribbon is white grosgrain coloured with a copic marker (YG67). I added a ghost snowflake and a ruby red bonbon

Monochromatic Bellariffic

Happy Friday! Today's Bellariffic Friday's challenge was Monochromatic -yikes!! This one was outside the box for me; I like lots of colour BUT it was a lot of fun & I really liked the outcome.

I used Mercy's sketch from this week (MTSC65). I inked up Peony Bittyblooms with mementos ink and stamped the image on bella's bestest paper & coloured the image with copics. I used a lavender atyou spica pen on the belt of the dress & added some purple velvet flocking to the centre of the flower. Just a dusting of glamour dust glitter on her dress

The ds paper is basic greys new line Kioshi, I love the soft colours in this line. I paper pierced around the layers and the image is layered on perfect plum which was cut with a nesties

Make sure you pop by Bloggabella to see all the other Monochromatic creations &
leave a comment to win some bellabucks! Next weeks Bellariffic Friday is a sketch challenge; isn't it fabulous?! Make sure you email a jpeg of your card to Em by Thursday to be part of the round up & to win some Bellabucks!

I chose paper from the Little Miss Muffet collection. The balloons are the ds paper and I coloured over them with a clear glaze pen to give the balloons some shine

The ribbon is white grosgrain ribbon coloured with a copics (rv17) and I added a bella bonbon to finish the card off.

Rainy Days...

Today in Calgary it's suppose to be +19c which is crazy warm for this time of year; sadly by the weekend we are suppose to be back around 0c with snow so my rainy day girl might need her umbrella for the snow!

I made this card awhile ago & totally forgot to post it; how crazy is that! I decided to make an easel card with this image & sentiment. Rainy Day Friends from MFT is stamped with mementos ink & coloured with copics. I paper pieced her coat, boots and umbrella & used a clear glaze pen on them to make them rain coats. For the buttons I used some of Taylors Tiny Twinkles in purple.

The DS paper is Fancy Pants Dancing Girls & I used swiss dots to emboss the cs to make it look like rain drops.

I added some yellow ribbon, a prima & button to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day I know I am going to enjoy our nice weather while it lasts!

Manly Thanks

Aside from going to all the final hockey games and the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, hubby also went to the Super Bowl in Miami (he's had a good year for fun trips!!) He needed some thank you cards for that trip, and when I was flipping through my Bella Bindahs I found the perfect stamp (which I forgot I owned!!)

Hanging Sports Block is stamped with mementos ink onto bella's bestest paper & coloured with copics. On the basketball and football I used a paper towel sprayed with blender to give them the textured look. The football has white glaze pen on the stitching.

The ds paper is from Sassafras Life is Beautiful line that I picked up on one of my visits to Stamping Bella.

Did you love the release on the Friday?! I can hardly wait for all my new rubbah to arrive!! Remember Em is offering 10% off orders until March 16th!!

This weeks Bellariffic Friday's theme is Monochromatic - email your card to Em by Thursday to win some Bella Bucks!

I have my final peek for you, it's a sweet Easter image of a girlie in an egg from the Green Bean Baby line (I heart this line!!) I used the sweet Sunday sketch from this week (SSSC59) for my inspiration. The girlie in the egg is on bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics. I paper pieced the egg & her hands so she looks like she is in the egg. I added some clear atyou spica along some of the egg; her hairband is coloured with a gelly roll pen

Make sure you stop by the rest of the babes blogs to see some more peeks & remember Em will be updating Bloggabella throughout the day!

An exciting week...

This week is super exciting for me because my BFF Karen is flying in today for a weeks visit AND there is a release at Stamping Bella on Friday!! I have some sneak peeks, and Em said we could show them this week so today I will be showing you the first one I have; the babes have other images so make sure you stop by their blogs through out the week!

The image I am showing is called a heritage tree. When I first saw the image I thought of the tree from Harry Potter that attacked them, but as I was colouring the image I started thinking of the beautiful Magnolia tree that we had at our house in Toronto. That one week a year when it was fully in bloom people would stop to look and take pictures! Now we have little trees because we are in a new area in Calgary & I miss the big old tree (but not raking up the leaves!!)

I used the JUGS sketch from this weekend (JUGS23) but made mine into a square card to fit my image. The tree & leaves are coloured with copics, and I added some sweet pea flowersoft.

The ds paper is Dancing Girl and the card base is chocolate chip with 2 different size ribbons. I paper pierced around the ds paper, so I actually completed the C4C27 challenge of paper piecing - love it when that happens!

Have a great day, I have another sneak peek planned for Wednesday, and then of course for Bellariffic Fridays, which in honour of the release is ANYTHING GOES, email Em (em@stampingbella.com) your card by midnight Thursday to have it showcased on Bloggabella & remember you could win Bellabucks; which I'm sure will come in handy!!

Polka Dots Big & Small...

This weeks Bellariffic Friday's theme was "polka dots big & small we love them all" so I went through my stash of paper to find some polka dots to play with!

I used this week Mojo Monday sketch (MOJO128) as my inspiration and inked up Ketto's Pot o' Flowers, stamped it onto bella's bestest paper and coloured it with copics. I used a clear glaze pen on the pot to make it look ceramic and added some sparkle to the pot with a black atyou spica pen. I added some glamour dust glitter to the flowers, and on the very tips of the pink flowers I added some doddlebug velvet flock. The punch is from EK success.

Make sure you stop by Bloggabella to see all the amazing cards - and leave a comment to win some bella bucks!! Next Friday is release day at Stamping Bella, and I am excited to have a few sneak peeks to share with you next week! For next weeks Bellariffic Friday the theme is ANYTHNG GOES!! Make sure you email your cards to Em by Thursday at midnight - you could win some bella bucks; which will come in handy with the new release!!

Have a great day

Who Wants to Snuggle?!

Yesterday my new stamps arrived from The Greeting Farm & I had to ink one up right away - I love the Hope & Grace series of stamps!

For my inspiration I used Mercy's sketch from this week (MTSC63) and inked up HG Snuggle. The image is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics. I added some red stickles to her bow and the dots on her dress. I out lined the hearts on her dress with a black atyou spica pen.

The DS paper is from Pink Paislee cupid collection, as is the brad. The CS is all SU's chocolate chip, certainly celery & blush blossom (a colour I hardly ever used while demonstrating & now I am loving it!!)

I hope you have all recovered from the Olympics; I am trying to get back into a routine (not that I had a very strict one before the games!!)

Thanks for stopping by & have a fantastic day

Simply Golden

WOW I think I am still recovering from that hockey game last night! I watched it with my BFF and her hubby via Skype which was so much fun but I was a few seconds ahead of them so when the big goal was scored I jumped and screamed then being the true Canadian girl I am I apologized for ruining the surprise for them!

Since Hubby was taken to 6 hockey games (all the medal games); long track speed skating (where our men's pursuit team won gold) and the closing ceremonies he needed some thank you cards. Now I was bummed that he was there & I was here, and really didn't want to make the cards for him; but since he funds my wee stamping addiction I reconsidered
!

The stamp is from the $1.50 bin at Michael's, and is stamped with mementos ink and the red is coloured with copics. The gold is a zig pen (man they stink!!) and I used SU warm words thank you with gold embossing powder.

I think he had fun; he never uses a camera but took my small one & told me he took over 300 pictures and he on the front page of the sports section of USA today on Friday cheering!! I can't wait to see all the pictures tonight when he gets home from work. He was smart & booked himself on a 7am flight today so he was out of Vancouver before it got crazy!!

Have a great day - thanks for stopping by

March Calender

This month I used one of Stamping Bella's sweet Kettos - I love this line!

Madeline Ketto is stamped with mementos ink and coloured with copics. On her wings I added some micro fine glitter and I used a clear glaze pen on her shoes so they woul dhave some shine. The DS paper is from SEI's Mimosa line, I also used some paper from this line to paper piece her dress.

Thanks for stopping by - don't forget about Bellariffic Friday's this week is Polka Dots - big or small we love them all!! Email Em (emily@stampingbella.com) by midnight on Thursday with your cards to win some Bella Bucks!
