Holiday Chicks

Happy Fridays this weeks Bellariffic Fridays Challenge was a sketch.  I decided it was a perfect time to get a holiday card made so I flipped the sketch to work with the image.

Caroling Chicks is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink and stamped onto bella's bestest white card stock.  I coloured the chicks with copics.  I added some glitter to the snowflakes and on the ground I used a clear wink of stella pen.  The dp is Crate Papers Sleigh ride.

I kept the colours on the inside of the card - this sentiment comes with this sweet sweet stamp

Please stop by Blogabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is one of my favourites - Paper Piecing.  To play along just use a current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday.

Inspiration Time

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was an Inspiration Photo

For my card I used  the colours as my inspiration

Uptown Girl Bentley Gets Blown Away was stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  I shaded around the image with tumbled glass distress ink.  The DP is Bo Bunny's Lemonade Stand

I continued the coloured paper and a strip of the DP on the inside - I masked the word "always" on the sentiment

Please stop by Blogabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is a sketch - just use a current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Blogabella's Bellariffic Fridays

Sweet Sunday Sketch 286

FINALLY I managed to play along with this weeks SSSC!!  It's been a crazy month or so - reno's on a house (that when we bought we said didn't need renos) company and a trip to Europe - no wonder I've been missing my stamp room!

This weeks sketch was a circle, but it's cut off a wee bit so I decided it would be perfect for a sentiment card.

I used Verses - Life Rules stamp and inked it with 2 distress markers; Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers.  The DP is a mix of MME's Memorable and Glitz Uncharted water.  I added a few sequins.

Please stop by the Sweet Sunday Blog to see the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers creations and remember if you play along with the sketch please link your card on the blog

Petunia and Penny

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch and I decided that Petunia and Penny take a Break was perfect for the circle

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  The grass is done with pencils.  The shading around the image is tumbled glass distress ink.

The dp is an old one - MME's quite contrary (I've reorganized my room and found some old papers!) I added 3 tiny rhinestones in the corner

I used all the papers on the inside of the card - what a fun sentiment

Please stop by Blogabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is an inspiration challenge.  Take whatever inspires you from the image and use a current stamping bella image.  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Blogabella

Create your Own Background....

This months Stamp of the Month as Stamping Bella is Uptown Girl Sofia the Sicky - she is 20% off all of September!

This weeks Bellariffic Friday's challenge was a messy one for me - create your own back ground!  For mine I used a few different Lindy Stamp Gang sprays...

Uptown Girl Sofia the Sicky was stamped with memento ink and coloured with copics and pencils blended with gamsol.  I decided to take a page out to Stephabella book and paper piece.  The dp for the chair is Ep's sweet Girl.

The background is a piece of heavy white card stock embossed with We R memory keepers Gemstone embossing folder then sprayed with Caribbean Blue, Hibiscus Rose and Creme Brûlée Cream

Please stop by Blogabella to see the rest of the babes creations.  Next weeks challenge is a sketch - just use a current stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday
