Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 266

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  My nephew and his wife had a baby so I need to make a card for my great nephew (that sounds better then calling myself a Great-Auntie!!).

I tweaked the sketch to work with Snookums from Stamping Bella.  The image is stamped on mixed media paper and coloured with water colour pencils, distress markers and tombow makers.  The DP is My Minds Eye Remarkable.  The tiny congrats sentiment (from Taylored Expressions many minis set) is stamped with versa fine ink and embossed with black embossing powder.  I found a charm in my stash and decided to add it with a brad

I kept the colour theme on the inside of my card - I love the sentiment that comes with Snookums

A Little Buddy & Jolly

Happy Friday!  Today's Bellariffic Fridays Challenge was a sketch.  I decided to make a Christmas card; maybe it's because I've been watching multiple hockey games every night - I LOVE the Stanley Cup finals!!

I used sweet Buddy and Jolly.

The image is stamped with memento's black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  I added some glimmer to their stripes with a gelly pen.  The sentiment is a retired Stamping Bella sentiment - I'm hoping she will bring some of them back!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 265

Happy Sunday I'm happy to share with you this weeks SSSC265

For my card I used Stamping Bella's Flower for a True Friend.

The image is stamped with stazon black ink onto mixed media white card stock and coloured with water colour pencils.  I bought a few this week and now need more; I really enjoyed working with them.

I used the square panel as a spotlight for the flower petal.  For the panel I used a piece for velum and attached it to the card base with 2 brads.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 264

Happy Sunday it's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

For my card this week I didn't use any stamps - just dies

The "hello" die and word die are from Poppy Stamps Inc.  The Flag die is MFT's Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax.  The DP is MME's Notable.  I added stitching around the layers

Sometimes...

Happy Friday - today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch.

I changed the circle on the front to an oval because I wanted to use Stamping Bella's Big Words sentiment "Sometimes People Forget"

I stamped the sentiment with versa mark ink and then embossed with clear embossing powered.  I then taped down the scallop nestie and inked over the sentiment with abandoned coral distress ink and a little cracked pistachio distress ink.  I then cut the sentiment out.  For the pattern piece I took a piece of bestest white card stock and inked mft's fishnet stencil with cracked pistachio distress ink.  Before lifting the stencil I sprayed it with pearl glimmer mist.

I kept the theme on the inside again stamping the sentiment with versa mark and embossing with clear embossing powder.  Again I used abandoned coral distress ink and cracked pistachio prior to cutting the image out

Sweet Sunday Sketch 263

Happy Easter!  I hope everyone is having a fabulous day

For today's Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC263) I used Stamping Bella's new Uptown Girl Sabrina loves the Spa

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  I didn't have dp that matched the colours I chose for the image (should have checked first!!) so I made my own back ground paper using MFTs petal pattern stencil and seedless grapes distress ink and picked raspberry.  I used the stencil to emboss the purple card stock strips.

I love the sentiments that come with this stamp.

The Stories we Love....

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to add sewing to your card.  All the babes are featuring Stamping Bella's Stamp of the Month - Uptown Girl Rebecca loves to Read which is 20% off for the month of April!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest eggshell card stock.  I coloured her skin with copics, the rest is coloured with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  The DP is Embellish by Dena from Darcie.

I stamped the sentiment on yellow card stock and added a strip of the DP on the inside and sewed these layers as well
