Sweet Sunday 213

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend - we are still in the March in like a lion phase; more snow in the forecast BUT there is a wee bit of sunshine later in the week; come on spring!!

Karen has a fun sketch for us this week (SSSC213) - it's a skinny card (3.5x5.5)

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's new images - Snookums

Isn't he cute?!  The image is stamped on bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  The dp is EP's All About a Boy.  I added two pumpkin coloured brads to finish of the front

I used the base piece of dp on the inside and stamped the sentiment that comes with Snookums - what a fabulous sentiment!

Wishing for Spring

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch and I decided to make a spring card since this was the view at my house yesterday, and it's not suppose to change until after the weekend

For my card I finally inked up Uptown Girl Bunny and her Daffodil.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with pencils with mineral spirits and copics.  Her dress was done with pencils, the rest with copics.  I then fussy cut the image and mounted it on a white card stock from the DP Authentique - Delightful.  I added some pink rhinestones in the corners.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the Babes and Sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is an inspiration challenge.  Simply ink up a current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win the monthly prize

A Rescue for SSSC212

Happy Sunday - is it spring where you are?! Here winter is still hanging around; I am so ready for it to go away!

Karen had another fabulous sketch for us this week (SSSC212) but I did have to tweak it a bit....

For my card I inked up one of Riley and Company Funny Bones Sentiments

The image is stamped on a piece of dp from basic greys Luscious with verafine black ink then embossed with black embossing powder.  The strip of dp is also from the luscious line.  The star is MFTs Stacking Star die-namics.  On the centre star I used star dust stickles and on the black outside star I used a black wink of stella pen.

Bling it UP!!

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to BLING IT UP - add some bling to your card

For my card I inked up one of my new Uptown Girls - Marcella goes to the Masquerade.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  I added some shimmer on her skirt with my clear wink of stella pen.  I shaded around the image with pumice stone distress ink and added a little glimmer with some pearl tattered angels glimmer mist.  On the base layer yellow card stock I again added some shimmer by spraying it with tattered angels glimmer mist.  I had the rhinestone border in my stash and have no idea where it's from

The sentiment (which I LOVE) is stamped on the inside, where I carried over the black and yellow card stock

We have a new babe joining us this week and can she colour!!  We are very excited that Cheryl Valadez  (the Ink Trap) has joined our team!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see what the babes and sistahs have created.

Next weeks theme is a sketch - simply use a current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Emily by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you will be entered in the monthly prize

A little Inspiration for Bellariffic Fridays

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was an inspiration photo.

So funny when I was done my card Lesliebella and I were talking about the challenge and she mentioned the brown - brown what brown?  I apparently only saw the yellow and grey!

Helga the Hot chick is stamped on watercolour paper with versa fine onyx black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder I coloured the image with distress markers and tombow markers.  The DP is Fancy Pants Park Bench.

We are so excited to announce we have a new babe joining our team this week - Steph is joining our little team!

Sweet Sunday 209

Karen has a fabulous Sweet Sunday sketch for us today - one I almost didn't do because I thought I'd already made it then went to check my post and nada no card!  So there I was late Saturday afternoon colouring up one of my new Gorjuss Girl images

This stamp is called "I found my family in a book"

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I used pencils blended with mineral spirits for shading.  On the hearts I added sparkle with a clear wink of stella pen.
