When You're Happy....

Happy Bellariffic Friday!!  This weeks theme was "anything goes" which meant I had to find a sketch to "inspire" me!  I went to Karen Giron's blog because she has a link to all of her Sweet Sunday Sketches.  For my card I used SSSC80

Lulu's Morning Fix is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream paper and colour with copics.  I added some shading with pencils and gamsol.  On the black polka dots and the centre of the flowers I used some atyou spica pens.  On the phone and coffee mug I used a clear glaze pen.  The shading around the image is done with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper.  The dp is MME's Ooh La La for Her.

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is another sketch - email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included in Bellariffic Fridays on Bloggabella.  Remember to link you card on the SCS Forum for a second chance to win a Stamping Bella gift voucher.

You are Unique

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen (SSSC152) and another Guest Designer joining us this week - this is a new this year so remember to link your card on Karen's blog to have a chance to be a Sweet Sunday Guest Designer.  Here is this weeks sketch.

Again I stayed with the sketch - this is seriously becoming a problem for me!!  As soon as I saw the sketch I knew I was going to use Stamping Bella's You are Unique stamp.

The stamp actually has 4 girls so I just picked 3 to colour up.  The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with copics.  The dp is MME's OH LA LA for Her.  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations and remember to link your card on Karen's blog if you play along with us

Lucille

Happy Friday!!  Today Bellariffic Fridays is another sketch by Ebruabella - I love having a sketch every 2 weeks!!   For my card I inked up one of the Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella's January release - Lucille sends her Love

Naturally the image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream paper.  Now this is where I changed things up - part of the image is coloured with just pencils!  Her hair and skin tone are done with copics, the hearts are a combo of copics and pencils BUT her dress and the shading around the image is done with just pencils and gamsol.  The nice thing about bella's bestest paper is all mediums work beautifully on it!  On the frills of the dress I added some shine with a lemon atyou spica pen.  The dp paper is basic greys two scoops.

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge is an easy one - ANYTHING GOES.  As long as you use a Stamping Bella image you can have a chance to win on Bloggabella and SCS.  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and link your card on SCS using the key word BELLARIFFIC0612 for a second chance at winning a gift voucher

Birfday Cake

I'm still trying to get some Birthday cards in my stash so today I have another one to share with you - Izzie has a Birfday cake

The image is stamped onto bella's bestest cream paper with memento tuxedo black ink.  I coloured the image with copics and added some shading with pencils and mineral spirits.  On the cake I used a clear glaze pen to give the icing some shine and a red atyou spica on the flowers.  The cake is paper pieced.  On the polka dots on the dress I used black micro fine glitter, on the polka dots on the hairband I used a pitch black atyou spica pen.  The dp is MME's market street.

You still have time to play along with this weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge which is another wonderful sketch.

Just Dropping you A Line

Happy Friday!  For my Bellariffic Friday card (BELLARIFFIC0412)  I inked up another one of my new stamps from January's release - Ramona Fishing

So first I must say the idea to have the heart outside the panel came from Paulabella when she gave a sneak a peek, she is always inspiring (and some of that inspiration is expensive - like my caran d'ashe pencils!!)

I stamped the image as always onto bella's bestest paper (the only paper I use) with memento tuxedo black ink.  Now maybe it's because I was looking at Paulabella's card when I started making mine, but I stepped outside my copics box and used a mixture of copics as a base then layered pencils for the shading.  Now it's intimidating but it was fun to use the pencils more then usual.  I paper pieced heart longer then the image by cutting it out and then gluing it to the length I wanted.  I also used an atyou spica lipstick on the heart and a clear glaze pen.  The ds paper is MME's dwell.

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays (BELLARIFFIC0512) theme is another awesome sketch from Ebruabella!

Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella AND remember to always link your cards on Stamping Bella's SCS Bellariffic Gallery (using the keyword) to have a second chance to win a gift voucher.
