A Lettah

When I saw Jen's Deconstructed Sketch 86 on Thursday I wanted to play along and Izzie has a Lettah was perfect

I stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured her with copics.  I used pencils and gamsol for some of the shading. On the polka dots I used a black atyou spica pen.    The design paper We R Memory's Crazy for you.   I added some stitches to the base layers.

On the inside of the card I added some fishtail flag stax die-namics in the pattern paper and stamped Izzie again.

Flower Garden

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a fabulous sketch.  I loved how it was a very clean sketch and I stuck to the sketch

For my card I inked up one of my favourite flower image from Stamping Bella - Flower Garden.  The image is stamped with versafine black ink then embossed with black embossing powder on water colour paper.  I then coloured the flowers with a combination of distress markers and tombow markers. In the centre of the flowers I added some glitter.  I shaded around the image with old paper distress ink.  After embossing the base layer I then distressed the paper with spun sugar.  I added some stitching to finish off the card.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations and what the sistah's did with the sketch.  Next weeks challenge is You Are So Sweet.  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella for a chance to win some Bella Bucks

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!

What's Poppin?

I wanted to ink up some of MFT stamps that have been neglected for far too long!  I saw the MFTGUESTDT0213 on SCS and I loved the sketch.  I then decided to make a card for my friend who I go to movies with; we are currently trying to get in some of the oscar picks.

I inked up MFT's Pure Innocence Popping By with memento tuxedo black ink onto cream cardstock and coloured the image with copics. I paper pieced her dress with the design paper Cosmo Crickets Baby Jane. I also paper pieced her hands & popcorn and pop onto the dress for the right dimension.  The flower in her hair is also pieced on.  I then shaded cream cardstock with squeezed lemonade distress ink to mount the image on.  I added some stitching around the base layer, again the dp is cosmo crickets baby jane. For the tag I used MFT's Notched Tag die-namic and embossed the sentiment in black.  The border along the bottom is MFT's Mini Double Dot die-namic which I then stitched down and added some rhinestones.

On the inside of the card I again took a piece of cream cardstock and distressed it with the squeezed lemonade ink and stamped the image in black memento ink, as well as the sentiment.  I again used the Mini Double Dot die-namic and stitched it onto red cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by & have a fabulous day!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured with copics and shaded with pencils and gambol.  in the centre of the flowers I used star dust and pink stickles. Along the trim of the cake plate I used star dust stickles. The dp is MME's Lost & Found Madison Avenue.  The panel is cut using MFT's fishtail stax die-namics.

Audrey

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was an inspiration challenge -

For my card I focused on the chevron stripes, the green and the reddish hue.

Uptown girl Audrey loves makeup is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress with dp from MME's lime twist Life of the Party.  For her baubles I used a grey copic (N4) and then layered silver atyou spica over it.  On the handle of her purse I used a clear glaze pen to give it some metallic shine.   I shaded the ground with pencils (French Grey 10% and 90%) then shaded around the image with antique linen distress ink.  The reddish/coral cs is embossed with cuttlebug's Charles embossing folder.  I added Chevrons using MFT's   Chevron die-namics strips.

Merci

I needed a thank you card for a co-worker of my hubby's because he went to Paris (where he's from) and hubby told him how much I loved the french macaroons when we were there in the fall.  He said he would bring a few back for me.  WELL he brought me back the most beautiful box of the gorgeous macaroons; I would share a picture but there are quite a few missing (as soon as hubby came in the house!) so here's a photo I found on line of them.  YUM!!!

For my card I went through all my 6x6 paper packs and stopped on MME's lost & found Union Square.  Once I had the dp the rest fell into place.  For the sentiment panel I used MFT's die-namics polka dot greeting die & stamp duo and MFT's banner day alphabet and distress ink in aged mahogany.  I then distressed the panel using tea dye distress ink.  The flowers are Tim Holtz alterations tattered flower garland.

For the inside of the card the dp had the PERFECT sheet to use.

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a fabulous day

Time to Relax

Happy New Year!  I know that the new year brings changes and at Stamping Bella it's bringing new stamps! Yep Em has a small release coming out tomorrow!  She's going back to her roots so to speak and is doing mini releases instead of waiting to do big ones.  I personally LOVE the mini releases; means I don't have to wait as long for new rubbah!

I'm excited to share with you a new Uptown Girls Reilly Needs to Relax.

The image is stamped onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured with copics.  Now with the design on the chair I had to think how I was going to paper piece it (Em always jokes about how she knows I will paper piece them)  I decided to stamp the image onto just a plain piece of dp from Ep's Everyday eclectic then using copics and a pink atyou spica pen I coloured in the design.  I added some shading on the seams of the chair with a copic marker.  On the wine bottle and the wine glass I used a clear glaze pen.  The shading around the image is done with distress inks in antique linen and walnut stain.  I added some glitter around our uptown girl and gave her some nice silver baubles (hmmm I think they look like ones that come in a blue box?!)  The sentiment comes with the image and I free cut it

Pop around to the babes blogs to see some more of the releases, and Em put 2 images up today on Bloggabella and tomorrow she will put them all up.  Now since she is bringing in the new that means she is getting rid of the old.... yep there are lots of stamps on special and when they are gone they are gone so if you have a favourite you've been waiting on buying you may want to check now.

Next Friday we are back with Bellariffic Fridays on Bloggabella.  It's a sketch so play along and email your card to Em by Jan 10 to be included and you could win some bella bucks to spend on the new "girls"

Thanks for stopping by!
