Warm Wishes

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was sketch

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's older holiday images - Minty Coffee with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with pencils and mineral spirits.  I paper pieced the mug onto the base layer to give the card some dimension.  I then inked around the image with antique linen distress ink then to give it an aged look I sanded the edges of the the circle.  The dp is MME's Mistletoe Magic.  On the corner I added a piece of snowflake washi tape and a rhinestone.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see all the other babes and sistah's creations - remember we are having a Guest Babe starting in the new year click here for all the details.

Branching out on a Sweet Sunday

Karen has another fabulous sketch for us this week (SSSC197) and for my card I inked up one of MFT's new images Trim the Branches Snowman.

The image is stamped onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with some copics, but mainly pencils with mineral spirits.  On the ornaments I used either a clear glaze pen or gold gelly roll pen.  I cut the image out using MFT's pierced circle die-namics then layered it on a piece of burgundy card stock cut with a nestie.  The tag behind the dp banner is cut with MFT's fishtail flags layers stax die-namics.  I shaded around the image with bundled sage and antique linen distress inks.  The snow on the ground is done with DecroArt Glistening Snow Writer The DP is Basic Greys Aspen Frost.

For the inside of the card I inked a piece of white cardstock with the antique linen and bundled sage distress inks, added some banners in the dp cut with MFT's fish tail flags layer die-namics.

If you have a chance to play along with the sketch this week remember to link your card on Karen's blog.  Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch - I tweaked it slightly by making my card square to work with the image.

For my card I inked up Stamping Bella's Helga the Hot Chick by Christine Grove with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's kraft card stock.  I coloured the chick with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  The fan is coloured with copics.  For the shading on the ground I used tea dye distress ink with a sponge.  The DP is Glitz's Uncharted Waters.

I added the sentiment that comes with the image on the inside of the card, I kept the colour theme going and added a banner with the DP

A GorJuss Sweet Sunday

For Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch (196) I instantly knew I wanted to ink up one of the new Gorjuss Girls Stamps I have.  I found them this summer at a fabulous scrapbooking store in Kelowna BC called EverAfter Scrapbooking - if you're out that way you should stop in and see Amanda!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cardstock and coloured with copics.  The image is mounted on cream cardstock which I inked with antique linen distress ink.  The DP is Bo Bunny's Serenade Collection and for the panel behind image is some washi tape - I have a huge collection and I'm determined to use some of it!

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations and if you play along with us this week don't forget to link your card on Karen's blogs
