SSSC205 - Birthday Wishes

Today's Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC205) had me a little stumped at first

You know I love to colour up images but I went outside the box today - no colouring was involved.

This was a super quick card to make, and I went with "guy" colours.  I started with the DP EP's All About Boys.  The sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft designs.  I went over the sentiment with a clear glaze pen to give it some shine. I stitched around the layers and added a fishtail stax die-namics

I Miss You...

Today's Bellariffic Friday's challenge was a sketch -

For my card I inked up one of favourite Seniorita's - "Wanda"

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  The image was cut with MFT's pierced circle stax.  The DP is MME's Notable which I sewed around.

For my Friends

I started my Bellariffic Friday card last week, but with this head cold I just managed to get it finished.  The theme was "for my friends" and I decided to ink up one of the "older" Uptown Girl images - well apparently I wasn't the only one who thought that Angelabella and Sandiebella used the same image!

Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille with a Cafe is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with prismacolor pencils blended with mineral spirits.  The dp is MME's My Girl.

I kept the colour theme on the inside and added a strip of the dp.  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge is a sketch email your card (using a current image) to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and to have a chance to win the monthly Bellariffic Friday prize

Sweet Sunday 204

Here's today's Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen (SSSC204)

I flipped the sketch to make it work with MFT's a la mode Time to Celebrate

The image is stamped with memento's tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I added some shimmer to the icing using a clear wink of stella pen (love those pens)   The dp is MME's Vanity Fair.  I added a couple of rhinestone brads to finish it off.

I'm late.....

For an important Bellariffic Friday date!  I must apologize my card is going to be up later today - I've been on my couch this week with a brutal head cold to the point where I can't see to colour because of watering eyes.  I'm hoping things turn around soon so I can finish my "for my friend card"!

In the meantime please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.

Next week is a sketch week - email your card to Em (using a current stamp from Stamping Bella) to have a chance to be entered to win the monthly bellatiffic friday prize.

Sweet Sunday 203

Happy Sunday - it's a big Football Sunday (Karen I'm pulling for your Bronco's) - we planned ahead and got all the essentials  to be on the couch watching the big games.

Karen (SSSC203)  has another great sketch for us this week, I sort of stuck to the sketch

For my card I went stamp free - I've been re-organizing my room which means I've found stuff I bought and forgot about!  I decided to use the "Thanks" die I have from memory box; always good to have a Thanks card on hand.

The dp is one from my stash - basic grey's luscious.  I cut the sentiment onto the dp then added some shimmer using a clear wink of stella pen.  The circle is cut with MFT's pierced circle stax die.
