I wanted to play along with Mercy's sketch this week (MTSC48) so I inked up Snow Day and coloured her with copics. I was smart & made 6 cards to add to my Christmas stash; I find doing 6 an easy number because you can add details to them and it's not overwhelming (hopefully I remember that for next year!). On her pocket and buttons I used my clear glaze pen, and added some clear stickles to the pom poms on her toque (eh!). For the snow I used liquid applique and utra fine glitter.
The card is 9x4 so for my embossed chocolate chip pieces I ran them through the big shot 2x and just matched up the edges; it was easier then I thought. I used Quickutz snowflakes embossing folder. The DS paper is from Bo Bunny's This the Season line which I paper pieced. I added some red ribbon and used my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and finish it with a crystal bella bonbon.
Thanks Mercy for another inspiring sketch!
Have a great day -
Dana
copics: YG0000, YG17, BG32, BG45, R24, R27, E57, E59, E000, E02, E21, R02
