Non Traditional Card

I'm back today with another Corrosive Challenge blog card - a non traditional Christmas card.

I decided to use MFT's PI girl Something Special Just for You.  I stamped the image with mementos ink and coloured her with copics.  I paper pieced her dress, present (and arm otherwise it would look odd!) and her Christmas cracker hat.  I remember there was always at least one of them that came out two coloured and that person was cool (as cool as you can be wearing the paper hats around the dinner table!)  Now there are fancy Christmas crackers, but I'm still partial to the ones with the bad jokes and prizes!!  I used a glaze pen on the ribbon and the hat because those hats were always kind of shiny.  The sentiment is from MFT - a holiday set I received with the October VIP set.  The ds paper is cosmo crickets mitten weather.

Please stop by the Corrosive Challenge blog to see the other creations and I hope you find time to play along with us this week.

Have a fabulous day!!

I remember those cheesy crackers - the hat, the toy, the joke but I didn't know about the coolness of the two coloured hat! Pretty card Dana - a gal that I work with would go nuts over this - her FAV colour is purple!

This pad of 6X6 is the first one I used every sheet of it. Now seeing this, I miss it. Wicked! And we still wear those damn hats with my family!
