Fore your Birthday

I needed to make a birthday card for my hubby, and I must confess I don't have a lot of suitable "guy" images.  I went with a Mo Manning image that's available in rubbah from Stamping Bella

The only thing Hubby has in common with Big Guy Golfing is that he golfs.  I'm happy to say he doesn't dress like this or I wouldn't be golfing with him!!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured with copics.  The dp (EP's This & That) inspired my colours for his vest & shirt.  For the grass I used pencils and OMS.  The golf ball is done with white liquid applique and left to dry.  For the shading around the image I used distress inks in Stormy Sky and Old Paper.  The sentiment is a retired from Stamping Bella; again I used the distress ink on bella's cream cs.  On the golf club I used a clear glaze pen to make it look like an metal shaft not the new graphite shafts.

Don't forget to play along with Bellariffic Fridays this week; it's a sketch (my favourite challenge!)  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included

Thanks for stopping by,

Dana
copics: E0000, E000, E00, RO2; YG61, YG63, YG67, E30, E31, E50, E55; Y21, Y32, Y35; T0, T2, BG32

Fabulous guy card Dana. Love his plaid vest - you did a wonderful job colouring this to match the plaid paper!

A perfect theme for his card!!! Maybe you should get him a hat like that to protect his fair skin! LOL!!
