Since Hubby was taken to 6 hockey games (all the medal games); long track speed skating (where our men's pursuit team won gold) and the closing ceremonies he needed some thank you cards. Now I was bummed that he was there & I was here, and really didn't want to make the cards for him; but since he funds my wee stamping addiction I reconsidered!
The stamp is from the $1.50 bin at Michael's, and is stamped with mementos ink and the red is coloured with copics. The gold is a zig pen (man they stink!!) and I used SU warm words thank you with gold embossing powder.
I think he had fun; he never uses a camera but took my small one & told me he took over 300 pictures and he on the front page of the sports section of USA today on Friday cheering!! I can't wait to see all the pictures tonight when he gets home from work. He was smart & booked himself on a 7am flight today so he was out of Vancouver before it got crazy!!

These cards are PERFECT with the gold maple leaf!!! Yes my BFF, it was quite fun watching the game with you, and you didn't put a damper on my enthusiasm at all for the game winning goal!!! But I did appreciate your apology! wink! :)
