Bring on the Bling

Happy Friday!! Today's Bellariffic Friday's challenge is BLING - I can't wait to see what the sistah's create this week; you're making this picking thing very tough on the babes!!

We needed a thank you card for my hubby's boss & his wife who had us out on their boat one afternoon when we were in Kelowna on holidays - it was fantastic just cruising along the water; how I miss being close to a lake!  They were also nice enough to have us to dinner while we were there so we wanted to make sure they knew how much we appreciated it!

I went through and found an old solid image from Stamping Bella called solid funky grass.  I bought this stamp way back when Stamping Bella first opened!  I decided to give the image a new twist & stamped it with olive ink onto bella's bestest paper, then added some flowers I had from Stamping bella.  In the centre of the flowers I added some rhinestones; you need to use the ones that are already sticky because there really isn't any place for the glue or use micro glue dots (which are fabulous!!)  I stitched around the base with pink thread, and used fiskars apron lace border punch & some ribbon.

Don't forget to check out Tantalizing TOOOOSdays over at Bloggabella & Stamping Bella is now on Facebook - I know Em would love you to become a friend :)

Next weeks Bellariffic Friday challenge (week 3 in the DT call) is this fabulous sketch that Paulabella created.  Email your card to Em by Thursday & please include your name & blog on the photo.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day

Dana

Love the simplistic beauty in this! The colors come together so nicely and the flowers are the perfect adornment.
